No way Raiden's F1 or Shinnok's F4 can punish a -6 move. -6 moves are completely safe against all normals in the game.
It's still a safe advancing mid(people tend to neutral crouch against Kitana a lot) and her most damaging combo ender(though hardly ever worth the meter). I'm glad it was nerfed, but yea they have to buff the damage or startup to make it really useful again.

you don't have to. walking foward just makes the jump kick easier to connect. After fan they're in the air for half a year, there's plenty of time to do combos
Ah ok, yea I did 212~fan like 4 times and I just stayed there, like she was still recovering for like 3 seconds after that, weird.
Her best (go-to) punish now is actually 24 xx Fan since the last patch. 21 xx fan also nets you more damage than 212 xx fan.
I always remember prepatch the scaling off 24 is horrible, it leads to worse damage that 111. It might have received stealth scaling buffs
Yeah that must have been what made it useless. They didn't mention the scaling changes in the patch notes. Now it leads to almost the same damage as F112.
So is her 24 the best punisher now? I'm a bit confused.
Yes it is. It leads to 35% midscreen and 37-38% in the corner.

24 xx Fan. F43, F43, 21 xx Lift. JK xx Fan. F33 xx ender.
You can also do 24 fan, jump 3 fan, 33 lift, 33 ender. Easier inputs for me since Im learning Kitana! and it only shaves off 3 percent mid screen. And yes, 24 its a pretty safe string too.24 xx Fan. F43, F43, 21 xx Lift. JK xx Fan. F33 xx ender.

This has to be sarcasm? Am I right?
It uses a bar of meter to do a tiny bit more damage (even using ex lift instead of regular lift in a combo adds more damage than using ex throat slice at the end), it has no armor, she already has a safe special so using it for that is pointless (especially since she can do rising fan > ex float instead), and I don't think it has any special uses. It doesn't seem to have a reason for existing.
