Ok so rising blades has two hits of armor also? But isn't rising blades more risky since if the opponent reads your wake up then it's full combo punishable and assassin strike is more safe?
I like ex ass on wake up if I only have one bar to spend or don't want to spend 2 because of its pushback and it's just trickier to punish than her DP.
Ex DP if blocked can be cancelled with ex float and that is cancelled into jip or njk to stay safe or even plus. So rising blades is good on wake up if you want to spend 2 bars. If they eat the ex DP you can spend another bar on ex float into air fan for a full combo off wake up.
I'll usually wake up once or twice early on to show savagery and a willingness to use meter because often people will start respecting that option and I can get off the ground for free often with buttons if I see them blocking. Or if in the corner you can jump out for free if you see them blocking and respecting the armored wakeup.
One of my favorite mind games after landing ex ass or ex DP a couple times is to wake up with regular timing, and the moment they say "whew, no armored wakeup" and let go of block to start offense I blow them up with delayed ex ass or delayed ex DP and watch the salt commence. It works so often. Also, don't forget the dragon special: d1/d3 cancelled into ex DP to blow up counterpoke attempts for full combo. Dirty stuff.
