There is really no hope for Sindel

i know you didnt say i suck, but its implied regardless and its 100% right though. i always thought her rush down game was shit because i have been playing this past year with shitty delayed attacks. which made it hard for me to rush down and do stuff like d+1. i wasnt aware of this till this past weekend when i used @AC1984 sticks.

i also want to point out that sindel doesnt have the best zoning tools in the game. when theres kabal, kitana, freddys zoning is better. even noob is better at zoning.

shes also the only character in the game that doesnt have either an armor attack, a teleport or a 9 or lower frame attack that isnt a d+1. every character has atleast one of the 3 some have all 3..

her recovery on her instant air fireball (not using the levi cancel fireball) will allow her to block

so you can manage to throw a projectile regardless.

Plus, like you said, you had a laggy stick.
But again, sindel has issues upclose, but she can manage, 2,1 levi cancel, d+1 cartwheel is a great string to do, etc. she has a lot a lot of tools for people to say she sucks.

Trust me, I am scared , i am frightned to be far away from you, your zoning is spot on, but im not upclose. Against runway, his zoning is tough, but no question dancock has the best zoning, however, runway scares the shit out of me with sindel upclose.

When he first told me about his laggy stick I literally went "WHAT...oh nooo"...Dan was amazing to begin with...now I learn he was using a broken/ghetto stick...oh hell nah....he's gonna be fierce. And btw Dan, I don't think Mr.Kitana was insinuating you suck...WE all have experienced your Sindel and my God....I have lost hair during our mirrors. Joe's Sindel is really good too!

I also want to point out I wasn't able to do stuff like a poke into a special move on my sticks because they sucked. I was able to do this on the better sticks. It just fucking drives me nuts knowing I wasted this while year.

I always thought her d1 was really fast. But it has that t-rex arm reach which makes u have to be up on a opponent in order for it to hit. And we know what happens when sindel is in on a opponent and doesn't react fast enough once her move completes.

Sindel is indeed A Tier.

It's not based off of match ups, it's based off of her tools, plus, there has been no high level sindel player showcase her at her full potential at tournaments.

If you're just going to zone with sindel, she's def F tier. You have to know how to fight upclose should it ever be needed. Sindel is a great zoner, but against most matchups, the other fighter will get close to her. She has decent tools, great mixups, levi cancel pressure, etc.

The reason why shes such in the bottom, is because people don't play her correctly.

I think Runwaymafia, should he have gone to NEC, would have showcased her wonderfully.

Same with Skarlet, skarlet imo deserves to be A+ just like tom said.

It is an absolute joke that Skarlet is rated as one of the lowest tier characters.

I think it's possible for Sindel to make it far in a tournament but chances of the Sindel winner takes it all is limited. On XBL KeyWestBoi is the the best Sindel player I've came across. I told him he should enter tournaments with her. He does a lot of techniques that I didn't know Sindel was capable of involving her Levitate-Cancel. She is just as dangerous up close as he did interesting things with Forward1,2 - D1 - Back1,2 - 4,4,Back1 I think players should check out KeyWestBoi on XBox 360, he's that good. Because of him and watching him play certain matches against characters, I learned how to adapt to Kabal, Mileena, Quan Chi, Raiden and even Smoke. These were characters that I thought Sindel has no answer to but in the right hands of the right player, Sindel cuts both ways. If we were purely talking about zoning 100% with fireballs, look how far that Kenshi player made it against Sonya. I will disagree with Tom Brady, Sindel needs an armored move perhaps Ex Cartwheel, I can't tell you how many times she used it as a wake up attack and only to get cross-up jump in combo punched. Why give Noob Saibot and Kenshi armored moves up close to avoid pressure when they are zoning built? Sindel needs one, Ex Cartwheel armor I would prefer but I don't mind an armored Ex Hair Whip or Ex Low Fireball in the sense she needs that get the **** off me type of armored move. As DanCock stated, 4 into special would be perfect too like day 1 Sindel unpatched.

Normally after 311>Lev cancel.
U can also do 2>Lev cancel
2,1>Lev cancel
3,1>Lev cancel
B3,F2>Lev cancel
B1,2>Lev cancel

I believe u can also do a Lev cancel.after her 4,4 string.

Lev cancel is normally good doing it mid way in a combo since it reset the damage and allows u to start a whole new combo. [MENTION=433]DanCock[/MENTION] is good at explaining sindel better than I am.

I think I'm going to stay out of sindel conversations until after [MENTION=8368]RunwayMafia[/MENTION] and [MENTION=588]Mr. Mileena[/MENTION] use her exclusively at the next major tournament. I feel both are better players then myself. So we'll see. I'm almost positive both will do very very well. I just hope they both don't use any other character but her.



FYI - I would fucking love day one sindel no patch, she is awesome. Just remove. The scream infinite and she'd be a+ tier.

However, I am comfortable enough with her to enter a tourney but if I lost with her I would switch to my main Kitana. Well i hope you make it to SCR runway. I agree with run and Mr. Mileena. Sindel is truly an undervalued character. I play a lot like Dan with the main zoning game however now that i have that down i have not once been outzoned by any char. I am in the process of Making my rushdown equal which i still have trouble with due to habit more that anything else. I have found however using her rush down as a zoning opportunity plays sick mind games. Because you opponant will begin to get afraid of rush and the get zoned and vice versa when done correctly. Her real only flaw is teleporters because it can limit her zoning and force more of a one sided style but its still winable. She could win a tourney in the future its just how she is played.

And for the record, im aware that there are far better players than me, but it is quite something when better players try to lecture someone else on how their main should be used, especially when they DONT use that character. That's not a flame bait or calling anyone out, but like Dan said...some of you top guys need to go to a major, pick Sindel or Baraka or Sheeva or Jade and then win with them. Because it is a bit rich to suggest how a character should be played, when those characters arent mained by the people giving the advice.

I used Sindel for a few of my pool matches at Devastation before I went on stream....I'm just so terrified of good Mileena players...Mileena is soooo damn hard to fight against as Sindel or Sheeva...ugh. And yes, I love Tom dearly, but bitch please, lol, until I see you doing money matches and competing at tourneys with a character that doesnt have a sharp hat or an ice clone to hide behind...don't educate us on HOW GREAT and HOW VIABLE Sindel is...I mean she is but we are the ones who have hurt our necks hair whipping since April!!!!
