Right?Lmao I don't even try and backdash Cassie or Kitana at all cause I literally get blown up every time for a full combo
But why bother when you can just low profile them...

How about Sinestro?True unfuzzyable safe 50/50s, one of the best wakeups in the game (EX Hellspike), Invincible EX tele, Nightmare Stance (which gave multiple options in itself)???
How is his vortex not part of his close range game? Sinestro has great neutral to compliment his strong zoning, and all he needed was a touch up close to put you right back into the blender. How about Sinestro?
I wouldn't count his vortex as his close range game by the way, as the way he set it up 99% of the time was via winning an interaction in the mid range game or from the opponent making a mistake while trying to get through his projectiles.
I dont think the free jump-ins are going anywhere, thoInjustice 2: The Return of Zoning
I hope you MKX run button/half screen mids/tiny stage/free jump'ins/40% 50/50's/vortex galor/Corner carry from mid screen/Corner of death bums are ready.
The Return Is Upon Us.
Firestorm's Flame Burst as an AA with priority, or it not working well, is literally the deciding factor whether I co-main him or not lol. At least you have the Aquaman, seemingly Brainiac, etc types.I dont think the free jump-ins are going anywhere, tho
But we'll see!
Having a vortex =/= having an up-close game. Sinestro's up-close game was bad. His mid to far neutral was where he shined. How is his vortex not part of his close range game? His trait also allowed him to pretty much play however he wanted, zoning, rushdown etc

Supergirl and Blue Beetle had really strong anti-airs. I played Batman and he could cheese it a little vs Superman and Atrocitus, but you couldn't do it in a stupid way. Batman is likely gonna have one of the better jump ins in the game and even he would eat shit if he jumped a lot. Was really happy with them in the beta.Did u play the beta? Injustice 2 AAs for the cast that was available was really strong actually.
No, i was not lucky enough.Did u play the beta? Injustice 2 AAs for the cast that was available was really strong actually.
Let's be honest, though -- ask any player of a top tier whether they were afraid of Freddy at close range. Or list the toolsets and frame data of Kung Lao, Cyrax, Cage, Kabal, Sonya etc. and see how many more options they have at that range.True unfuzzyable safe 50/50s, one of the best wakeups in the game (EX Hellspike), Invincible EX tele, Nightmare Stance (which gave multiple options in itself)???
The realest post here? @JDMUnpopular opinion; it wasnt as bad as everyone said it was it wasnt just a mindless keep away tool like mk9 and injustice.
People want to be able to check you everyone on screen for free and not worry.
I.E kabal, freddy etc
no lol. Zoning was legitimately trash for a long time. The offense was braindead as shit but oh you have to "think" when you zone lol. Except offense rewarded you way more and was way easier to keep up. in reality if the offense wasn't as ridiculous as it was zoning would have been fine, but run button+unseeable 50/50s etc made rushdown wayyy better than zoning. Zoning was weak. The realest post here? @JDM
He's right about the aspect of people wanting brain dead zoning instead of mindful placement of fireballs.no lol. Zoning was legitimately trash for a long time. Case and point: I could never ever outzone a local player before the run nerfs. Once that happened I could legit check his runs and apply my zoning correctly. They buffed aa's that patch as well I believe and i could actually anti-air him trying to jump over Outlaw's zoning.
What are you talking about? There's nothing braindead about legit zoning, I'll respect the zoning player who's great at spacing, keep away and knowing what's safe and not from the right distances any day over the guy who just crowds you, lame frame traps, partials, easy resets etc Like a lot of people said including tourney guys, anyone can learn up close offensive mix ups, but NOT everyone can zone well...
I followed you until the moment you started to talk like zoning is harder than rushdown tbh it depends on the game you ll have a hard time making me believe that zoning with let's say Morrigan in MvC3 is harder than rushing down with someone else at the end of the day it depends on the game no strategy is superior also you have to understand that Zoning is not a popular strategy so you ll have less people focusing on it so less people being great at itThere's nothing braindead about legit zoning, I'll respect the zoning player who's great at spacing, keep away and knowing what's safe and not from the right distances any day over the guy who just crowds you, lame frame traps, partials, easy resets etc Like a lot of people said including tourney guys, anyone can learn up close offensive mix ups, but NOT everyone can zone well...
morrigan is way harder to use than say wolverine or spencer tfI followed you until the moment you started to talk like zoning is harder than rushdown tbh it depends on the game you ll have a hard time making me believe that zoning with let's say Morrigan in MvC3 is harder than rushing down with someone else at the end of the day it depends on the game no strategy is superior also you have to understand that Zoning is not a popular strategy so you ll have less people focusing on it so less people being great at it
I already bodied this logic in a PM. You don't went me to release the slaughtering in publicmorrigan is way harder to use than say wolverine or spencer tf
If you lack the proper tools to zone.... it's harder to zone.I followed you until the moment you started to talk like zoning is harder than rushdown tbh it depends on the game you ll have a hard time making me believe that zoning with let's say Morrigan in MvC3 is harder than rushing down with someone else at the end of the day it depends on the game no strategy is superior also you have to understand that Zoning is not a popular strategy so you ll have less people focusing on it so less people being great at it
