I'm really surprised by he improvement on this game, and tbh I hardly feel lag, all you gave to do us shorting your combo by a hit or 2 and you should have no problem, really good netcode.

I've played over 200 matches and only around 20 matches did I notice lag. The online has been absolutely amazing for me and maybe even the best online I've played in fighting game so it's weird to see that people say that the online isn't that great. I guess it's different for everyone.

Online in this game is pretty good, I feel like most of my matches are legit matches. In comparison MK9 was unplayable for me online on day 1.

Its arguably better than MK9's server, which is fantastic. I've played maybe 15 games so far online, and I had no problems with lag. I noticed some mild latency in a few, but it's online so it's expected.

i'm pleased so far

Online is just ok, still get those annoying moments where it will lag spike cuz some guy is playing on his moms dial-up. The worst is when you get bad input lag and are using a combo heavy rushdown character aka Catwoman :(. I used to be able to play people in the UK in SF4 with no lag. I doubt if that would be possible with Injustice.

MK9 was honestly not very laggy in my area but it depends on who you are playing against.

not as good as ttt2 therefore bad. its like sf4. playing locals is probably ok but theres literally no reason to play ranked. the best matches ive played feel worse than playing socal in ttt2 (im in ohio). why cant american developers create good online when they live in the same country as tony cannon? lol.

It is better than SF4 but not quite VF or any GGPO obviously. It is still very playable online, if anyone with a good connection is having trouble I ask first, are you using wired or wireless? Wireless is always strictly worse especially when it comes to a fighting game.

Haven't had time to pick my copy up yet but what is the online like?
I've been playing a lot of ranked matches and I'd say that I'm very pleased with the game. Personally, I feel I enjoyed MK9 more but that's subject to change considering I played MK9 from day one up until now and Injustice has only been out for around a week. Koth is a lot of fun considering all of the little things that they added like betting on the victor and challenges - plus the netcode is much better than it was in MK.

The only thing that bugs me is how crazy long it takes me to find any ranked or player matches. I have no idea why but it can take up to 7 minutes. I'll leave, go in the lab, and then I get like 3 matches all in a row. Im in WV and the internet here literally clocks at the speed of Puerto Rican connections though ( NOT kidding. Compared speed tests on UMVC3 and tied with a puerto rican players connection).

Not certain whats up with the match finding. Lobbies work great though.
Yeah i have the same thing... sometimes i find matches rather quick, but sometimes it takes so long that i have to go out and search again for a game, wich usually helps for me, not always tough...

For anyone wondering about the online for UK to UK, it's perfect.

Just as good as SSF4.
Yes when I played with a local friend the online quality is as good as ssf4. But when I play with others, it's impossible. I wouldn't say that the online for this game is good but definitely better than Mortal Kombat.

Hmm I almost brought this game until I saw this thread. Input delay is unacceptable. I am staying with TTT2

Fighting game studio's need to get their shit together on this front if a game that is as complex as tekken (the producer has gone on record saying that tekken needs to ship much more information as much up to 5x as most other fighters) can achieve great netcode.

In future i wont be buying any fighter that doesn't reach this standard.

How sure are we that input delay is the same across PS3 and 360? I'm playing on 360 and haven't noticed any input delay as such. The occasional game lags but that's expected when I'm playing people in the US.

The input delay is really exagerated. Sure if u play against someone from the other world u have more delay...Kinda annoying when i see someone post that they dont buy the game because someone complains because i doesnt play exactly like offline or when they play on a dial up connection or uploading porn or whatever program they are running in the background.
For me i really hardly notice the difference between offline and offline when i play someone from europe, even against the US its deffenatly playable. Dont let those people fool u, cause ur missing out on a fantastic game.

Lucky you. This game is a waste of my $.

It's definitly not perfect but much better MK. it feels perfect at first, but you will notice theres a little bit of delay and can completely misread some inputs but its rare. getting use to it is easy.

The online is better than MK9, but still has a way to go. There is a delay online and you will definitely notice dropped inputs. SS4 is a lot better online.

My thoughts exactly. I also like when people bring up how nothing can be perfect or how you can't do anything about a bad connection, as if that's the problem. I guess TTT2 defies the law of time and space then, huh? haha. I played a friend last night that lives 10 mintues from me, and it feels the same as playing someone across the country in TTT2. Seriously, NRS sells more copies of their games than any other company making fighting games, so resources aren't a problem. There's no excuse other than the fact that they don't have to make the netcode better to sell copies since 99% of their fan base doesn't know any better.

Well, after a week of online play, I can safely say the online is fantastic in comparison to mk. Sure some connections are troublesome but for the most part, even koh, I'm not even aware I'm online.

The netcode is balls.
Sadly most fighting game developers are either incompetent or just lazy, they still think input-delay based netcode is passable.

After 2 weeks playing i never got a desync untill today just now, where it happened 5 times in a row in the middle of a match...what the hell, anyone else has this?
