I'm really surprised by he improvement on this game, and tbh I hardly feel lag, all you gave to do us shorting your combo by a hit or 2 and you should have no problem, really good netcode.
I've been playing a lot of ranked matches and I'd say that I'm very pleased with the game. Personally, I feel I enjoyed MK9 more but that's subject to change considering I played MK9 from day one up until now and Injustice has only been out for around a week. Koth is a lot of fun considering all of the little things that they added like betting on the victor and challenges - plus the netcode is much better than it was in MK.Haven't had time to pick my copy up yet but what is the online like?
Yeah i have the same thing... sometimes i find matches rather quick, but sometimes it takes so long that i have to go out and search again for a game, wich usually helps for me, not always tough...The only thing that bugs me is how crazy long it takes me to find any ranked or player matches. I have no idea why but it can take up to 7 minutes. I'll leave, go in the lab, and then I get like 3 matches all in a row. Im in WV and the internet here literally clocks at the speed of Puerto Rican connections though ( NOT kidding. Compared speed tests on UMVC3 and tied with a puerto rican players connection).
Not certain whats up with the match finding. Lobbies work great though.
Yes when I played with a local friend the online quality is as good as ssf4. But when I play with others, it's impossible. I wouldn't say that the online for this game is good but definitely better than Mortal Kombat. For anyone wondering about the online for UK to UK, it's perfect.
Just as good as SSF4.
Lucky you. This game is a waste of my $.Hmm I almost brought this game until I saw this thread. Input delay is unacceptable. I am staying with TTT2
Fighting game studio's need to get their shit together on this front if a game that is as complex as tekken (the producer has gone on record saying that tekken needs to ship much more information as much up to 5x as most other fighters) can achieve great netcode.
In future i wont be buying any fighter that doesn't reach this standard.
It's definitly not perfect but much better MK. it feels perfect at first, but you will notice theres a little bit of delay and can completely misread some inputs but its rare. getting use to it is easy.Haven't had time to pick my copy up yet but what is the online like?
Oh well back to halo 4 then for u!Lucky you. This game is a waste of my $.
My thoughts exactly. I also like when people bring up how nothing can be perfect or how you can't do anything about a bad connection, as if that's the problem. I guess TTT2 defies the law of time and space then, huh? haha. I played a friend last night that lives 10 mintues from me, and it feels the same as playing someone across the country in TTT2. Seriously, NRS sells more copies of their games than any other company making fighting games, so resources aren't a problem. There's no excuse other than the fact that they don't have to make the netcode better to sell copies since 99% of their fan base doesn't know any better.Hmm I almost brought this game until I saw this thread.
