You guys are lucky that Lex is even entertaining your position. He has nothing to prove. If you want to play him, come to the states. It's an American game, the guy lives in the city where it was created. I was very fortunate that he Moe and Thrower came out to NJ for ECCX and we all got to play eachother. I know where I stand and that encounter definitely brought Chicago and NJ together in the long run.

Thanks shock for the reply. For one rzp or ninja grinder plays mkt all the time, which combos are much easier(at least i think so) than the arcade version. Like I said b4 buy an xbox360 or fly here next tourney if you want to prove yourselves. If you do not have the money which you prolly don't (then keep ur mouths shut). Your combo videos are nothing compared to DA'S and you know it. When I first watched ur shit I was like seen it b4 and I wasn't impressed at all. i've said that to lex i will said it again: although i dont like him as a person he is one of the best umk3 players i've ever watched, i actually never said that he sucks, nor do i said that i'm better than him.

the whole this thread is that rzp and hanzo post a lot of vs matches i see nothing wrong with that. they never said that there are the best but i doubt that most of the people here are better than them.

i also see nothing wrong to post a video matches and until the next tour i'll dont mind to watch more and more vcla matches

It wasnt my intention really. But sometimes when I told the guys here in Venezuela "Hey! Check these vids! The guys at US had a UMK3 tourney" and when they see them they get like... "man why you show me that?" or worst "they havent leveled up?" and that is because many times players seem to be out of shape and as I have always said, they play too much online vs. Really, it will train or prepare you for nothing, never a match will have the solid interface or action that a real arcade match has.

There are many random issues to deal in an online match like lag, controller, pc specs etc... Really it doesnt help to show a PC tourney or say "a long time ago we played and were the best" or "xxx player is the best online"....

1. I think lex is talking about these video . It's that chi preview vid. He never told anyone that the kabal player was moe. so I put on the description "lex(jade)vs some scrub kabal player. I remember crearly that in the srk thread thrower said to lex "who where that kabal player? that was his first time?" so, I didn't know who played there. so what? even if it's moe, u just have to see the vid to understand why I wrote "some scrub kabal". lex just raped him and he didn't do nothing! just block all day.

2. listen up, my old man (lol) I can't believe you actually think vzla players (or us) had practiced hard just for your validation. to "live this moment on the boards" XD jajajajaaj that's just hilarious. we want to get better, or quit playing. no other choice.

3.agent007: wtf all u talking about? we play mkt all the time and mkt southamerican matchvideos is ALL we show? don't u recognize arcade from console versions when u look at the videos? yeah, we've shown some mkt stuff, but even there, vzla stuff is way more advanced shit that anything has been posted. by anyone. and you're lame talking shit to the combovideos. there's nothing to claim on that. it's not a contest. if u had a clue of what you're talking about, u'd know I colaborated so much in various DTZ vids. I'm cool with shock, even with lex. they just get annoying some times. that's all. but honestly here, i dont wear a crown, nor do i want to. i exist in this thread to let people know that chicago has pushed this game like no other playerbase using the most perfect setup. lots of people cannot comprehend that without being involved with it.

playing in a laundromat with your friends is not the same. theres no aural cues; 100% visual. the guy isint standing next to you, so getting him angry does not matter - play as cheap as you like. the list goes on and on ill say it again: wavenet > all. sad but true!

even if i never played on wavenet, the players would be far better than i ever could have been because of that setup. and because of that, there is no one person that is better. i get rolled by moe, moe gets rolled by thrower, adam comes on for a game or two and rolls all of us, then gets rolled back.

combos do not matter to a certain point. its all about funky setups and doing things freeform so you cannot be read. VIDEOS CANNOT PROVE THIS. only playing people can reveal this. you cannot expect videos to show off the reading, misreading, reinventions and diversity. half the time i cannot have a tape running because it becomes a part of my concious and effects my game. im suprised i even have to explain this to you guys since you should know it already, being masters of the game and all...

chicago is the best, i am not. im more than happy to represent chicago in situations, but hands down, this city will murder you in mk.

we all just want to share opinions, talk about matchs and kombo videos, lex have some match videos that look good, (some against shock and some against a guy that i can´t remember the name) is so hard to just say (without critize) "good parte where you do the jhk spear" or "good match, i would like to show you this (a match video of that person), everybody know and the universe that chicago was the first to play this game and blah blah blah, but there are (out) so much peoples that play like hell this game (chile´s peoples are good cus there are almost 20 players, and all 20 play really hard) agent said to about to buy a xbox 360 and playonline, OMG, we will never play in xbox 360 let´s take to the past again... almost 1 year ago i was playing against ded_ with something like 500ms in mame, that´s mean that i´ll never have a good fight against anybody, even with colombian peoples, we most better start from zero (don´t you think?) there are so many things that some peoples just read ( and not read all the threads) and say something like "venezuelan guys play mkt all the time" and just create confusion here (with himself) i see that shock love to record matchs, even dreamer, i love some videos of konqrr (MK2) the lexhibition i like the robosmoke kombo, from some shock´s kombo video i love some good things like the classicsfrom ded_ the kung lao´s and reptile´s chars from selpex, MKTB with ded_, i dunno matchs, or kombo videos where it appear thrower or moe ( there are some, but donñt know what´s the kombos of them) i have the money to fly to EEUU but is not so easy fly and "hey, come on, im here in EEUU we will play ¿? please come" nop, there are some shits that venezuelan peoples most to do before fly (in all countries is the same) and now our fucking president want to fight with bush (to complicate all things) i would love to share some times with american guys and play umk3, lost, win, but play!!! Play Lex about 10+ matches and he will learn how you play and start the ownage. We played around 30 matches first time and I was winning about half of them, then all of the sudden I couldn't win a round.
