I have been ending all of my combos and going into the glitchy corner setup stuff. It's pretty nasty.

Yeah man, it's crazy strong. The one against Black Adam is ridiculous. Hits overhead, crossup, and leaves you in front. What is that noise?

That is similar to the combo I used to use a lot, but now i perfer one that leads to set ups, but it is good for finishing the round

1,F1xxDB2-(late)J2-J2-1,F1-D1-D1xxDB3 38%

You can cut out the second D1 for 37% if you cant hit it consistently.

Tiny thing: that meterless overhead corner staff combo in the OP, 1% more damage doing 2 j2 11 1f1 special than the current combo (36% with foot dive, 34% with spin)

On that train of thought...

2, 1, 1, 1, d2~MBstaff spin, d2~staff spin for 46% ( i think )

That is 43%, actually (the 46% is with jumpin 2), and with a slight change, 2 j2 11 1f1 MBStaff spin, d2 staff spin, it does 45%, 47% with jumpin 2.

Timing's a bit tight, gotta go fast on the 1's, but other than that quite doable. The meterless version is more lenient for timing as well.

I don't think 1F2 grants a hard knockdown in combos.

1D3 does.

i have no idea on earth how you are getting meterless b3 combos to work, ive tried for hours. you must be a wizard.

on another note as far as the crossup setup goes , the easiest way i found to do that was to do f213 fury MB b3 4 db2mb 1d3

It isn't THAT hard, just funky timing.

But it could've been fixed if b3 was a pixel longer.

.....just use F3 instead of B3.

Way I see it is, chances are you're landing Escrima Fury once, maybe twice in a match if you're lucky.

May as well optimize the damage as much as possible to make every time you land it worth it.

And again, the B3 is not as hard as people make it out to be.

The B3 gives you more bounce so you can do either 2 follow up j2's or a j3 which increases the damage.

I am working on something this morning. I can do vids of the meterless b3 and my planned setups as well.

You get to use j3's or more j2's in your combos.
