- Can no longer cancel Nomad Dash ( couldn't cancel it in other games, so no reason he should do it here)
- Remove the pushback on Sawblades
- Remove the pushback on his Overhead special



That would completely nutter Kabal...

IMO our patch should be as same as patch 1.04, with some buffs (like better poke for low tier chars, more EX moves and more damage for Sindel, Kano, Sheeva,...) and a little nerf for Kabal, Cyrax. Patch 1.04 is the best patch IMO, can't believe they removed Sub-Zero's reset, wtf is wrong with NRS??? And you can escape Smoke's EX Bomb reset with tech roll. Don't make it too different, i don't want to play a completely different game, cuz that's what NRS did to their game.

CSZ needs NORMALIZED pokes. Yes normalization can be a good thing. Something is wrong when your d4 gives you more advantage on block than hit and you're still negative and your d1 is 9 frames.

I think they did this out of fear of guaranteed bomb setups, but given this didn't apply to Cyrax, I agree with fixing his pokes.

If you remove Smoke's reset, at LEAST give him armor on his ex teleport. It'll make it a good option for escaping pressure.
Not necessarily, he'd have more reason to use X-ray. Never bothered the Sub forums of all people.

Cyrax has an inescapable damage reset and that went untouched.. not to mention Mustard did incredibly well with Cyrax even without using the resets. Tom was one of the best Subs and after the nerfs, Sub was neutered.

NRS tried to remove the resets for Cyrax, on the flipside, the only surefire way to do it is to integrate a hit limit on the 2nd net, ala UMK3 free hit moves, have the game recognize it as a true combo to scale adequately, or remove 2 nets in a combo entirely which also nerfs one of Cyrax's best pressure options. But these probably won't be in our hands anyway.

Jax's and Smoke's went untouched because NRS couldn't care less by the time they went viral.

Its not her Armor that needs fixing, its their breaker that needs to be adjusted.
NRS did different breakers in the game, the ones with fast startup and only 1 hit are eating this tech, the others who are not too fast and not too slow, and has double hits are preventing this to happen.

All air breakers have the same proprieties, that is why this doesn't work in air against everyone.

Also, giving armor to some of the chars who don't have any right now like Sindel (cartwheel) and Ermac (TKP) could help buff reasonably buff them.
MY GOD YES. I've been saying this for years now. The selective handing out of armor in MK9 was the worst design decision in the entire games. If you don't allow everyone an armored move, you absolutely cripple their offense and defense in comparison to anyone with armor.

Sindel cartwheel, Ermac TKP, Kano choke, etc.

A bunch of other stuff needs to be addressed too, like restoring Kano's knives to their former glory and probably making Noob's projectiles close to even on block? For a character who is supposed to be a total zoner, whose projectiles have insane recovery, and who does garbage up close damage, it's ridiculous to have the shadows be so bad on block. Guile's sonic booms are PLUS on block, and recover with lightning speed!

There is so much to balance, but it could be godly to have a community made version, ala smash's Project M. Project MK9, anyone?

There would be no incentive to teleport. I feel the community does not understand how Kung Lao's matchups work at all.
All that Kung lao needs is a safe EX Spin (-4) along with just the 3rd hit of that move to launch and his EX Tele-throw armor glitch removed and he's good to go.

Guile doesn't have a freaking physical projectile that hits overhead or low. Guile doesn't have a teleport and a spammable upknee. Your comparison is way too ridiculous.

They're just my personal musings. I say only make the overhead one near even on block. I do notice though that Noob DOES have a teleport and spammable upknee, but he's still a garbage character. It's not like those tools have made him any good now. He's supposed to be a zoner but his projectiles are laughable.

Again, all my opinion.

What do you guys think of armoring Sektor's EX TU and giving it EX Telekick-like blockstun so it can be punished with D1, proceeding combo?

No. It would make him fair.
No it wouldn't it would make him shite. It would mean he has absolute no safe options off his strings on block and there would be no point to his 50/50 as he could be fully punishable if they're blocked and on hit do like 9%.

That's stupid, it's not his upclose game that is the problem it's his IAGB and ex-ndc. Fix those 2 and leave him be.
