Ive never been to jail but id imagine 30 days isnt puny if youve never been in trouble before.
we were in brooklyn on a random stoop, i was hanging out with 2 latin king friends that i have know for years even before they joined a gang, my best friend EVAR!!!! and two friends from school, one of the latin king friends had brass knuckles on him so he was arrested on the spot, he didn't even have bud on him, in NYC knuckles are illegal. i was 17 at the time, so was everyone else except my boy chris who was 19 and he also got caught with bud. so we all got summons since we all had less than half a gram on us each and weren't selling. so we all got the same summons date, and its me one latin king who's been to jail for a weekend, a 19 year old, who has had a couple of summons before, and 17 year old who has done nothing so much as hurt a fly, also same situation with me. they called my parents, and my best friend doesn't technically have parents so they couldn't call anyone for him. and the other guy, the gang member gave them a wrong number and no one picked up so they gave up (LOL seriously). anyway with all that taken into account, i was the only one who had to do anything, everyone else didn't even get talked down to. btw this was about 3 years ago, i turn 21 on thursday.

If you break the law, you are at the mercy of the court system. It does not matter if your friends got off or you didnt, you all put yourself in a position to be sentenced. There are actual guidelines for contempt and it was outlined by pig of the hut earlier in the thread. You are complaining about having to go to counseling, that is nothing. Women who are raped in certain countries are found guilty and stoned to death. But our justice system is the bad one, right?
But they will fight tooth and nail to acquire a possible murderer like Ray Lewis. Sounds about right for ESPN.
am from Dominican republic, you don't have to tell me twice on how bad the law is out there, and i still will never agree on the fact that they got off and i didn't nor am i complaining that i had to go because if i was never sentence then i would have never met the love of my life (note i did not meet her in the counseling place LOL i met her afterwards when i met up with friend that lived near by). also the whole putting yourself in a position to be sentenced, i agree but at the same time tell that to the people who watches as someone gets away with murder because of the subjectivity of the jury or the judge, and vise versa, imagine if casey anthony was convicted? she may have done it, but there was't enough evidence, but let me not get into that i don't want some random person coming in here and trying to say all this stuff about casey anthony. i just think their should be some sort of guideline or system they should be judgments and for contempt and also inb4 someone says the constitution or some random bullshit. i don't ever think a judge should be able to make their own biased judgement and subjectively "judge" IMO.
South American Jails are some of the worst jails in the whole world. You are incredibly stupid and have no idea how the world works or how anything in general is. South American jails are known to be some of the most brutal and poorly made prisons in the entire world. Most of them are run by the INMATES. My guess is Ugeth Urbina knows some people or used the plethora of financial assets he had to strike a deal. I guarantee you if you were to be imprisoned in one you would be dead within 3 days.
