this is what i don't agree with, because there is not standard its literally a lucky draw on most of the things involving the court, from contempt, to the jury, to sentencing, to civil cases. it is all determined on a fucking dice roll on whether or not your judge is in a good mood, and his/her moral values and beliefs. i'll give an example, HOW in the flying fuck is it that me and 4 friends get caught with dime bags of marijuana, was given a summons and each of us had the same civil court date.......but explain to ME why THE FLYING fuck is it that my other 3 friends got off the hook, not even a slap on the wrist, while i have to go for counseling and threaten that if i don't show it will never come off my personal record? now i don't want you to say something like don't do weed, or don't get caught with weed because that's not the point. i was the 3rd called up, i was the most respectful LOOKING one there. all three of my friends showed up in hoodies and sweats and shit, i went there with a fucking SUIT AND TIE. the exact same case for all of us. it was my first offense on anything. 2 of my friends have been to court, one to central bookings in downtown Brooklyn for a weekend. can you explain why i drew the short straw?
