oh and no its spamming, zoning is just keeping a distance and doing moves that support that, if you chose to pick 1 move and repeat it over and over you're a spammer

Tough tits. How do you think zoning works man? Every single zoner in every single fighter boils down to being based around basically one move that controls horizontal space, and sometimes a second move that deals with vertical space. If you end up at your optimal range, these moves are the only ones that will be of any use to you.

I doubt it. I highly doubt it. They can't just depend on people remaining hyped throughout the rest of the time up to release if they don't announce anything new.

Online play annoys me because of some people. I stopped playing SCV online because so many people would pick fucking Ezio and spam his damn crossbow. Played one round of Mass Effect 3 online, was doing the best I could considering the character type I picked, and heard nothing but bitching about me, so that was it for that game too. Stopped playing MvC3 very often because there are only 2 ways to play offline, and that's Arcade or Versus, no versus CPU. So yeah. Looking forward to a game where it sounds like the community is pretty respectful. I just hope I'll be any good at it.

"Spam", as rags puts it, is a term used by players, that are not only bad but also don't learn how to overcome the match-up, to complain about losing to zoners.

You could have simply visited a SCV forum and asked the better players of your character on the tools you could use to get around it, and it would have been problem solved.

As for offline options, you can try hitting up your local scene. Even if you're not good the FGC is pretty cool and the people there will help you get better and show you what you're doing wrong.
I can understand if you can't make it often though. I also don't get the time to go as often as I would like.

you sound very defensive lol but okay lets say this...ill use ermac for example if you use his energy ball or whatever and they pursue then you use the force push then to knock them back then when they pursue again use the force push and it doesnt work and you use the force lift to get a few hits in...thats zoning keeping your distance with moves but if you use energy ball 6 times you're a spammming f-gg-t to me (noob and raiden are the worst OMF), even in SF you can use shoryuken as an anti air/zoning move along with hadokens and other moves so theres no excuse for spamming hadoken
you can try to justify it all you want just because you might do it but honestly its spamming and if you were really good you would have combos/other moves to do other than just 1 over and over

No. It's easy high damage for Liu, doing less so it isn't "cheap" is silly. Raiden is no better than neutral on block, you can poke out or armor most of his strings anyway.

It's his easiest, highest damaging combo from low confirm. If I land the low, why would I not use the combo when it does good damage? Especially with the only other combo that does similar damage from that hit not being efficient out side of optimal network conditions, and even that one requires you to loop the string 3 times before the ender.

We can do that, gotta be Xbox though. Usually takes me about two months of consistently awful play before I really start building up those dumb win/loss records. Hoping that Injustice will have a feel similar to MK9 so I won't be starting at zero.

ZWEI is my favorite character to fight against by the way, especially when they're good. I like to marvel at the dedication it takes to learn that guy. Dedication I'll certainly never be capable of implementing. PM me and we can set up some SCV sets if you want.

i dont use kang so i dont know his combos...but if spamming is your strategy by all means use it but dont act like spamming doesnt exist
and i never said noob couldnt zone he has a good moveset for zoning but i know i can spam 1 move efficiently with him so i mentioned it

Yeah, I play on Xbox.

Due to the dedication and time it takes to be good at a fighting game, I usually try not to play more than 2 at once. The time when I was good at SCV has passed, I suck now. I'm playing P4U, SFxT, and starting Skullgirls. When CP and injustice comes out they'll replace P4U and SFxT though. Depending on what happens I might re-learn that game.

Why would ANYONE do the harder combo that does the same damage as the easier combo? That's just fucking stupid and inefficient as hell. The only way it wouldn't be is if the harder combo gives you some sort of positional advantage that the easier combo doesn't.

Believe it or not, you don't get points for doing harder combos. Getting the win is all that matters. The game isn't going to say "MATCH WIN: PLAYER 2, REAL WIN: PLAYER 1, because he did harder combos." Nobody is required/should try to prove anything to you. The only measure of being good in a fighter is the win.

Unless your MarlinPie. Then you can do a swag Dr. Doom Combo, teabag, pick it back up, ultimately lose the match, but still have the crowd screaming your name and getting hype.

I'll sometimes use a harder combo, if it looks cooler, to showboat. But even then I'll only do that if I don't respect the other player, or playing I'm casually with a friend.
