Q: what if you preemptively see the shake and start an EX-up ball? I wonder if the tracking would do something crazy/interrupt.

I haven't specifically tested that, but I'm quite sure the shake would track it and beat it. Shake is really, really good.

Those are like his only short comings, if he had easy answers to those short coming he would be broken.

Cheers to nerfing characters so early in the game! I bet if Baraka and Sheeva were popular characters, one of them would get nerfed before even considering waiting for players to use the rest of the cast...

I'll start the Raiden trend tomorrow at WNF. Watch the broadcast kiddies! Its gonna be a doozie!

I'm not saying he's trash and it's very possible it's entirely me. However, I have yet to see a high level Shang, I'm curious to see how Shang would deal with Raiden specifically, and the rest of the rushdown teleport chars.

Krayzie Bone: I think it's too late lol. JOP and Justin Wong are playing Raiden and yes, it's MIND blowing JC/Raiden/Reptile/NW weren't nerfed. It's crazy how NRS panicked so quickly, rewarding these new gamers who don't want to put in real time to learn a game

Me too.

Maybe most of this stuff was already in planning stages, there doesn't seem to be any order of priority. I just hope it's stuff that they still keep the options, or that new buffs don't overshadow the rest of the moves they got.

Why are people speculating on a new Tier list already? Has the list of changes been released? If not, isn't this beyond too early to be doing this?

This isn't Street Fighter where Sagat can be declared King before the game is released or Tekken where Mishimas are by default awesome.

Even though nerfing this early is not necessarily great... it's a hell of a lot better than no nerfs at all like MKvsDC, or the previous 3D MK's. Just saying, the fact that we're getting any nerfs at all right now is something I haven't seen from MK in a long time. My point is, the MK team aren't exactly experienced in this area. They are nerfing some odd things based on the rumor, while leaving things that should be nerfed, or at least deserve it more than the character that are rumored to be nerfed.

At the person saying there's no Shang matches on youtube. What about my matches on EMPERORxINFUSION's youtube channel? They are quite good for not having played the game before besides combos. My Sonya is on his channel too! :) Enjoy.

A tier: Kitana, Cyber-Sub, Ermac, Mileena, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Kabal, Sonya, Shang Tsung, Noob Saibot, Sindel

B tier: Cyrax, Jade, Stryker, Smoke, Sektor, Jax, Sheeva, Baraka

C tier: Quan Chi


This is depending if what I heard right will be in the next patch. Not sure about Kung atm either, heard he's getting more nerfs like on :en spin and dive kick.

That can't be right, are you sure? I like Kano and I think is better than people give him credit for but S tire? due, that can't be right... now I will not be able to play him without being called a tire whore... not like that would stop me but still. :p
