OH, you're talking about canceling out of the Nomad Dash, not the 2. Right? Either way, I can verify if done properly, it will jail your opponent standing.

what the hell, they found a way around it? why didnt reo use it against cd jr and other then? but yes it needs to be removed if it is a block infinite. I dont see how it could cause problems if they just removed resets and block infinites without giving them a buff in exchange, but hey, nrs showed us that things are harder than they seem...

It's a just frame block infinite.

Is this for a human possible to execute consistantly? but kabal doesnt need this. reo even came up with 40% combos with kabal+building meter. I dont see any reason for kabal to have even more options.

Right, one frame. Hella hard. I guess Reo can only get a couple reps. It should just be gone based on principal.

As much as i would like an armored move on Ermac i really wish that they dont give him one. It will be too much trust me on that one. He will be immune to pressure, plus it isnt hard for Ermac to build meter at all. He is fine as he is. As for the other characters yeah the BS need to go. Personally i dont believe anyone needs a buff (ok MAYBE Jade and thats a big maybe cause she is still unexplored IMO).

As far as Sub goes, the only option would be to remove the armour on ex slide and add projectile armour on ex freeze just to stop the move being stuffed. This would give him a fair chance at getting around zoning which he doesn't currently have. That would not make him op at all. Some form of super armour on it would be op because he could counteract jumpins on reaction, even after standing there in block. That would be absolutely silly. The game doesn't need to see an abundance of armour added to it at this stage, so whatever.

The frame where you cancel out doesn't accept inputs, but if you cancel out with a special then it is +10.
So if I do 2~nd~saw blade, I will be at +10 the frame the saw comes out? And if I do 2~ndc I'll be at +9? (I know technically it's +10, as you said. But if I CAN'T do an attack out of the first frame of cancelling the dash, it means I have to wait for the next frame which gives me a pseudo +10 when in reality it's +9.) If this is true then it's not a block infinite.

2~ndc traps don't work on characters with medium or small sized collision boxes. Jax has a small collision box.

But consecutive reps of 2~ndc will jail standing, so after a jip it should be considered a true block infinite, right?

Seems like this has turned into another buff&nerfs thread...

IF a hotfix is coming out the ONLY things i want to be fixed are:

2 ndc giving +6 frame advantage
Remove Cyrax , Smoke and Jax resets
Random frame advantage moves ( jax f413 , kitana pretty kicks iirc )

That is all.No nerfs or buffs until mk10

I see, we''ll just have to wait and see what comes from this new tech, it may still be too early to say it should be removed

2 has 9 execution so it will jail all characters if something is +9. Something with 10 (or 9 startup) won't though.
It depends on the game's core system. If you can transition from standing to crouch no matter what at a neutral position (0), then this block infinite is a myth. Because when the second 2~ndc makes contact on the standing opponent, they will be able to crouch or evade the second rep by letting go of block.

The block infinite has all been speculation since its discovery anyway. It hasn't been proven yet on video if 2~ndc, 2~ndc jails opponents in stand block. I've been trying to capture at least one perfect consecutive rep for a while now with no success. Which leads me to believe it probably doesn't exist. The data that Somberness shows it being a pseudo +10 and not an actual true +10 is giving me more doubts.

Trust me.... here, try this out. Raiden's back 2 cancelled into shocker (the enhanced one) and vicinity blast. One jails, the other does not. Then try vicinity blast cancelled from standing 2. Check out the frame data thread why this is.

It is easy to say "no buffs please" when your main character is Kabal, Kitana, Cyrax / Cyblax, Raiden, Sonya, Freddy, etc. While I do believe some characters are underdeveloped, some characters like Baraka, Sheeva, and Stryker have been low tier / low mid tier since the game came out.

And imho it's also fun to have some bad MU to work around , feels more rewarding winning those.
Even if some characters received buffs they would not change MU unless it's a big buff and it could make some MU more loopsided.

Also i don't see how ANY character can't win a serious tournament with tough competition , there's nothing like a 10-0 MU in MK9

Sub-Zero vs Kung Lao is pretty much 10-0 (Lao's favour, obviously) if he abuses the teleport stuff. Just saying...
