Wow nice. That's really high level play flawless blocking F4 and punish (with normal!) if it is just a stagger.
Well one more reason not to stagger it too much. Reactable, flawless block...

But if they flawless block a normal and U3 they can beat it regardless F41... I have never seen it before even on Tournaments (except few Deoxy's Geras 6F U2 after F212 and other block strings where he could time the opponent's normal). :)

But hopefully some of you high level guys will incorporate it into the EVO winning team. But if Cassie is not top tier we will not see her in tournaments either haha.

I meant U2 lol. Atleast it is something that takes skill. If someone does it against me I won’t even be mad lol.

I see people in the tier list discussion (I'm not going to comment in that thread. Some of it makes me wonder lol haha), but I still think she's good. Sonic was never really a Cassie player from the get go. He played her because he thought she was dumb. lol. If they were going to nerf her, then now was the time to do it.

Personally, as a Supergirl player, I didn't want to repeat the same thing with Cassie like her, where everyone tried to play victim 90% of the time then trying to call me a downplayer when I did say Supergirl needed buffs in the Injustice 2 vanilla, but then she became really strong. I've actually had to block people who got personal about me beating them with her. That's how bad it was. Yeah literally over a video game lol. I didnt' have to go through this with Cassie.

Edit: 21D3 starts with a high, but I use it more.

I practiced a bit against glow kick-ex glow kick.
Well it looks true. You can "easily" (I needed 1-2 minutes in practice room) fuzzy block the amp and confirm the regular and press jab punish sooner on regular then a bit later after flawless block.

That is pretty "broken".

But not easy to prepare to all Cassie stuff need time to it.
I was beaten by a not too good Cassie who staggered F4, F41, F412, F3, F34 a lot (even did brainded ex glow kick but I was not prepared that time). I was so messed up and ate everything.

But I was unprepared for that and the timings are not in my hand as playing Cassie is not the same as playing against her. :)

(I am back to Scorpion though as I am interested in the nerf effect :D)

I watched but nothing new for me.
He was so hyped about throw/111 mixups but did not really mention that it was not safe anymore. :D

Just cause something’s unsafe does not mean you shouldn’t ever use it, if it’s good.

Yes I agree. But I have f*cked up mind. I always expect a perfect opponent who did all the lab work and can punish everything perfectly.
That holds me a bit back - and that's why I use characters with less dirt as it fits me better.

In case of Cassie that 111, 111xxBF4 / AMP is a "dirt" to me as it should be punished every time (but it is still an 50/50 I think because if we wait for glow kick we will lose the punish window on 111 but I did not lab it properly) but I also know it will not happen at all against average opponent. :)

In recent Cassie's game I just stopped 111 on block and nobody punished me... I rather risked a poke after that lol which is silly but worked. But we are not perfect I do not know every match up properly either.

But I do not like abusing people's ignorance either. I constantly train my friend against my characters as I am so annoyed when I see silly things against me just because he does not know what to do. :D

I agree, also at low levels people don’t really fall for it because people don’t know how to tech throws. They more or less just guess, and try to duck it. I’ve been labbing my butt off in the training trying to reconize throws so I can get to the point where I can tech them consistently.

Good for you I am pretty free against throws most of the time.
I rather have read on tech not reaction (or both as there are certain situations when you can anticipate throws).
On hard read I rather duck and punish than trying to tech.

But I am not high level either where it might be a basic skill lol.

Everybody has different throw animation it is hard to lab and learn everything. But hard work can be paid off.
And even if you recognize the throw it might be 50/50 which can lead into throw KB. :p

Yeah, but 11 should still work since your opponent will most likely still be expecting you to do the entire string instead of staggering the 11

You can’t hit confirm 11 especially is the first 1 wiffs. I been testing out 12 also. You can hit confirm it and it’s +0 on block with decent pushback, especially on characters where the 1 will never wiff on crouch block. 111 is still the way to go if you want to auto shimmy.

111 is -8 on block. lol. If they're punishing that, good for them. That's like a 1 frame window without a reversal.
It is not that difficult to punish if you know what to do.
I did it many times against Cassie players after I realized that they did not even do ex. glowkick (before nerf). Of course it can be messed up online - same as Scorpion's F423 which is also -8 on block with tricky punish window.

Yes it is not hitconfirmable as autoshimmy... or if you just always stagger it you only get plus frames on hit which is good but can not really go anywhere... you can do another throw/11 mixup over and over again... until you can get your throw lol.

111 is strong autoshimmy it is probably fair that they indirectly nerfed (=made possibly unsafe) due to amp glow kick.
However it is probably still a mixup: 111 or 111 glow kick or 111 low shot. I did not lab if it is possible to punish 111 AND block the follow up cancel reliably - I just have the feeling that it pretty difficult.
Block stun after 111 is not that big so you can not really wait and confirm the glow kick/low shot AND punish 111 too. The best you can do is wait and throw it can be punished by low poke (it is a fair check of high attacks after minus :D).
But again I did not lab it so it might be possible and GG 100% punish. :p

I’m pretty sure you can punish 111 with the same timing as blocking glow kick. You can confirm if they go for glow kick and block it or just punish 111, just do the same timing and you will block glowkick if that makes sense. You cannot do the same with kneecappin though. If you wait for kneecappin you will miss the punish.

Hm then against maximum prepared opponent the kneecappin might be better mix as ex. glow kick would be punished anyway but at least can not fuzzy and full combo punish the 111 punish attempt (and it will probably get respect that option for the next 111). That sounds crazy though.
