I think that WB has its own show. I remember a similar one from last year.
Yeah idk about that. It might be similar to NIOH from the looks of it. As in the only “build” like feature is what tree of skills you want to invest in. Would be nice if there were builds though, just like Dark souls.
what I love about doom is that the humans are the most badass, brutal killing machines in all of hell. I think there is something awesome about that lol
Wait wasn't he some weird being they found in hell in doom 2016. Like the whole thing was they brought his coffin back from hell and he was some kill of mythical hell reaper thing.
It's the original doomguy from the old games. He gets trapped in hell after doom 64, hayden finds him in 2016 while mining or whatever, and then at the end of the game teleports him to I guess back to hell if this trailer is any indication.
And to add that this dude lost his teammates since Doom 1. Every beast is afraid of him, so they sealed him there, sleeping for eternity.
Upon reflection, it is entirely possible (given the monster design in the trailer) that this is a prequel that explains what he did between 64 and 2016.
Oh shit I had no idea. I would have thought they would have been some mention of the devestation of the last time it happened. Or did I entirely miss it. There was the story tablets in hell you could listen to but I just assumed that was from like milenia before this one.
It's been a while, I seem to remember the link was almost easter eggy or maybe you had to find collectibles. The game calls him I think "DoomSlayer" formally, but there was something that makes the link between the ending of 64 more obvious.
Imo Square has always been that slow-burn company.. They're not the company that's going to have something massive every year, but the company that has a mega-reveal like every 4 years.WOOOOOW! That Sqaure Enix conference sucked ass! Only 30mins and nothing really new or special that caught Uncle JBeezY's attention as being "OOOOOOO! AAAAAHHHHH!" It was more like, "Really? Thats it? NEXT!"
