They are both blond women who get right up in your face. And now that you mention it, I haven't seen the two of them in the same room at the same time...So they just put Brawler Cassie in the game right? View attachment 13095
This is very true. She's not superman lol.I think Canary is very very strong now, but she's not some S tier auto-win machine that takes an hour to lab and just does whatever she wants.
She's not S tier either. She's only as strong as her opponents character. In 5-5 or 6-4's she looks like the best character in the game. Against the other 8-10 characters she looks helpless but hey. Idrc I will play her from day 1 to day 10000.. She's my WifeYeah I don't really mind more people playing her. I guess there's an allure to playing a little-represented character but it doesn't actually change whether the character is fun or not.
My guess is we'll see a huge bandwagon and maybe a "she's broken" thread which we will blow up, and slowly the numbers will settle down as bandwagoners move on to whoever actually emerges as the next big thing in easy wins.

Who's her worst 3 matchups? (post patch)She's not S tier either. She's only as strong as her opponents character. In 5-5 or 6-4's she looks like the best character in the game. Against the other 8-10 characters she looks helpless but hey. Idrc I will play her from day 1 to day 10000.. She's my Wife
Sorry I worded it wrong, I didn't mean she was S tier. I think she's A+ personally. But def not S. I do think she has a case for top 10 as things flesh out. But the lower half. She's not S tier either. She's only as strong as her opponents character. In 5-5 or 6-4's she looks like the best character in the game. If you time it right, yesdoes her hand spring avoid projectiles?
nice, so not during the startup then?If you time it right, yes
It's somewhere in the middle. And only highs.nice, so not during the startup then?
alright, thanks for the tip. It's somewhere in the middle. And only highs.
It was sexy, but the specific way he did it wasn't a mix, it was just quick and unexpected. Honeybee seems to be learning the matchup.https://media.giphy.com/media/puKpPsJY7eUXm/giphy.gif
First time posting in the black canary thread, but been playing her a while. Saw sonic do this mix against honeybee, has anybody seen this or experimented with it? I had never seen it before and thought it was interesting/sexy as hell lol.
Do you mean db2? Or are you talking about the db3 meterburn? It was sexy, but the specific way he did it wasn't a mix, it was just quick and unexpected. Honeybee seems to be learning the matchup.
At that position in the corner, Sonicfox didn't have to cross after the MB bf2. He could just go neutral into the j2, then neutral jump into another j2, into either db3 or b1(into db3). That would've been a true 50/50 reset. It's one of my favorites.
Yea. db2. My bad I seem to have a very bad habit of making that typo when using notation lol. I always just refer it as canary drop.Do you mean db2? Or are you talking about the db3 meterburn?
Cancel into a string? The key with j3 and a string seems to be to slow it down. Normally in Inj you input the string like it's part of the jump in, so like j2112 or whatever, but with j3 there's a hesitation. You hit j3 and have to pause before continuing. The timing is closer to jump-ins in games like Street Fighter if you happen to be familiar with SF at all.Can anyone explain to me why jump 3 is so hard to cancel from? I get like 5% of the time
I meant cancelling into air db2. Or is it not possible? I get it quite easy on j1 and j2, but on j3 I only get it if I input db2 very late, which suggests that you can't cancel j3?Cancel into a string?
