Beso de Muerte + Fantasía Oscura
With all the GM hate its most likely UNB with Ice Aura active.I wonder if its only ex slide or if that's the only one they showed.

I meant with aura up is it ex slide and ex burst. Or just ex slide. With all the GM hate its most likely UNB with Ice Aura active.
I just saw slide.I meant with aura up is it ex slide and ex burst. Or just ex slide.
That's what I meant in the orginal post. Could it be that its for all ex moves while armored up and they only showcased slide on stream. Or is it strictly for slide.I just saw slide.
They just showcased slide. They did it twice as a "oh what is this" teaser just like they did for Triborg Cyber SZ at ESL finals. Looks like SZ is getting undercover love for XL.That's what I meant in the orginal post. Could it be that its for all ex moves while armored up and they only showcased slide on stream. Or is it strictly for slide.
Last patch they put ice burst on him and aura made it deal more damage, maybe there are different buffs for each move. He could have gotten the damage over time freeze on his iceball like Cyber Sub.That's what I meant in the orginal post. I really don't think cryo needs much. He could get out of hand really quickly.@16 Bit recently reassured us that they were very aware of the community thinking UB was bad and him being in that kast, I think was part of the reason of them sneaking the buffs to UB...
Now if Cryo could also get just a little bit of love it would be excellent news...
That's why I said just a litle bit of love, he is nowhere near UB in terms of suckiness but still needs something. He just needs a tool (like an improved air hammer or something) to be respected in the neutral to force decissions (given how his whole gameplay is based on punshing mistakes but has no way to force them).I really don't think cryo needs much. If they at least give Cryo an ice knife projectile I'll be happy. That's not all he needs but I see that as a top priority, mainly because it would help to actually make him fun to play in my opinion. That's why I said just a litle bit of love, he is nowhere near UB in terms of suckiness but still needs something. It's a neat concept but if it comes with the damage penalty that freezing comes with then it won't solve his issues. Who knows though, maybe I'll eat crow. The more important highlight from the stream is it looked like his parry recovery was quicker.
Honestly I think throwing knifes solves nothing for subbie and I wouldn't like that direction too much (leave that for MK11 Frost). He's hard to zone out (slide goes under most Mid projectiles, EX Iceball eats projectiles) and doesn't care about ranged battles. If they at least give Cryo an ice knife projectile I'll be happy. Slide is for counter zoning, knives would be for zoning. It would give him a good way to build meter for his big damage, he could use the EX version for plus frames on block like Kano's EX knives, and he could use them to safely end block strings like Kitana does with 111 fan or d1 fan. Or like you said he could use it for a restand into a 50/50.Honestly I think throwing knifes solves nothing for subbie and I wouldn't like that direction too much (leave that for MK11 Frost). The only thing a knife throw would give Cryo is a Boneshapper-esque restand reset (Cold Blooded into projectile, like Boneshaper using the spinning scythe restand into beam) and I'm not sure they would give them +20 advantage so you can 50/50 with B2.
He is not a zoner!!!!! Give up dudeSlide is for counter zoning, knives would be for zoning. Neither is Kung Lao, but guess what he has in all 3 variations. I've already countered this argument child. Kano is not a zoner in cutthroat or commando either, but guess what they have. One of Cryo's problems is meter building, which he can get with a projectile. It helps him control space better as well which will by default improve his whiff punishing ability. He is not a zoner!!!!! Give up dude
Isn't that cancerous buff thread that was universally slammed enough for you? He is a punisher, so if you don't enjoy blocking mixups then don't play him. His problem is he gets Jack shit if the opponent doesn't make a mistake so he needs a way to force a mistake. @Lokheit knows more about this variation than either of us so let's leave it to him and other Cryo specialists.Neither is Kung Lao, but guess what he has in all 3 variations. Universally slammed by morons, none of which presented a single good argument for why I was wrong. The thread was fine, the replies were cancerous.Isn't that cancerous buff thread that was universally slammed enough for you?
