I don't recall the exact damage output, but I'm pretty sure Shotgun has a ~40% meterless combo. This conversion is interesting, and so far I pretty much agree with everything sn_meruem has said. Just buff her poke and I'll be a happy bae.

I totally agree with you bro, just found a video of yours to educate these people. Plus she does have a 40% meterless bit tight on execution though. Gave you a sub as well.

Hehe thanks for quoting my youtube channel :p Those aren't even her optimal combos. I just wanted to show that leaving them standing and going for safe chip damage is really the way to go (other than 50/50's, but at least by doing for chip damage, you don't have to worry about armored wake-ups and you build a ton of meter.)

Maybe I was wrong about the broke bit if they buff her more but what was wrong about the 6 frame punish thing??
It isn't a reliable punish for all situations.

For example, if I'm using D'Vorah, a true character worthy of being main'd, I can have reliable punishes for any given scenario. 100% of the time I land my punish. With Jacqui having a 6F move on paper looks good, but in actual practice it doesn't work well half of the time because the range is so short that you can't punish a lot of specials and normals regardless of frame data. Some moves that end slightly away or have some pushback will leave you whiffing or having the 2 in 12 blocked. So you're only really punishing things that end point blank in your face on a consistent basis with S1.

I'm gonna have to make a video of some useful punishes or something, I do agree with some of things you are saying. Plus anyone is a worthy character of being main'd if you like that character and their play style then there's no reason not to main em, just take a look at Biohazard.

I used to main Jacqui, but I had to upgrade. In a game filled with great and godlike characters, a "good" character doesn't cut it for me. She's good, but as others have said there are other characters who do the same thing as good or better with less weaknesses.

To the guy asking about the F12 meterless...

Shotgun: F12(2+4), RC, 1, F2U2-DU4, 4-DB2, RC, Ji1-33-BF4 for 37% midscreen

Full Auto: F12-DB2, RC, 1, F2U2-DU4, 4-BF4 for 36% midscreen

High Tech: I don't bother with this piece of shit variation :D

Also, I feel like people forget that standing 4 is a great poke! I abuse S4 all the time.

I sold out and shamelessly switched to D'Vorah and Johnny the past month or so. After playing Honeybee I figured if you can't beat em join em.

Jacqui still is more fun to me to use as a character and I still player her in casuals, but in tourney matches I don't anymore. Imo she's the only character that is both underrated and overrated if that makes sense lol.

Anything else is likely very situational or impractical and just for cmv purposes.

As to why she isn't utilised much in tourney, it's because she has an incredibly difficult time trying to contend in neutral. It's so confusing trying to understand why they have given her such a strong walk speed but no speed/range on normals to actually utilise the space control effectively :confused:

lol seriously though, i NEVER use 33 unless it's after an ex-db2 shotgun.

Jip is not a starter especially considering how bad Jacqui's are so it linking really isn't a thing aha. Don't get me wrong I realise your video was just showcasing potential, it's just very irritating seeing almost every 'bnb' combo video starting off with jip 33 as if it's her go to launcher aha.

The only time I use 33 is after a hitconfirm into qbrc in the corner aha! ;)
