Lol the irony. I'm not the one complaining about the community, drama, behavior, mean girls, illuminati, Hollywood, Injustice, Nightwing, dress codes... I have issues with certain people in the staff and certain people on TYM, like pretty much everyone else (again the irony here is baffling). I don't hate the players or the community. I hate stupid posts on TYM though, if that counts.
Yes, I'm on TYM to share my podcast, even though I've been here for over 2 years and the podcast is not even 2 months old.
When did I even bring up Mike or his MK9 placements? Cossner's statuses are used to show the hypocrisy and contradictions in his claims, not unlike him digging up posts from the GA forums to back his point.
This literally makes zero sense. Who is discrediting Cossner's placement at NEC? He got props, by me, on my own podcast. He's being criticized for the "I don't play the game" option select which is A) a lie, by many accounts and B) a get out of jail free card that allows him to 1) have justification if he loses by claiming he doesn't care and 2) give himself props for doing better than "99% of the community despite not playing the game" which is a direct statement he made in this thread. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that indirectly call out every single person he outplaced at NEC? What an assholish thing to say. What are you saying about those who play the game and you're beating? It would be fine if it were true.
1) The things you pointed out are mostly affiliated with you and your specific group...so yes, that's 100% what I said. Most of my posts are here talking to you and your boys who love to jab at myself indirectly, or directly. I will say that at least you can for the most part keep the argument within the contexts of a discussion and not resort to personal attacks.
2) The podcast remark was a compliment...perhaps your sarcasm meters are a little off there Coolwhip? I don't even understand why you chose to argue on that specific sentence when it was a genuine compliment to your work. I wasn't knocking you for promoting your material, but the fact that the things being discussed in this thread are being discussed at all, along with your boy Saucy actually stating this is wonderful publicity, cannot be ignored, and it shouldn't. You guys are getting more mileage out of being assholes in this thread than you are by the currently non existant podcast roundup (Seriously, WTF lol)
3) The Mike comment and the explanation I wrote below was not directed at you. Please read the "This is not directed at you Coolwhip" part. As far as the Cossner thing goes, you of all people probably shouldn't knock someone for "digging through posts". One of your greatest abilities is the uncanny memory for every tidbit of a users response on every medium. Everything is logged, recorded, and at your finger tips for use in an argument.
Allow me to do a little thread digging here because I do believe Pig just did the same thing in the tottery manx thread. "Oh I don't play injustice anymore, I haven't played hard since EVO". That is the same thing as your first point, and I would like to hear your justification of that.
I don't think it was Cossner's intent to call out every single person he outplaced at NEC. If it was, he would just actually you know...called them out. Anytime someone uses the "I don't play option select" they set themselves up for a cushion of they lose, and a huge boost if they win. It's why it's so effective.
