They aren't true 50/50s unless he comes to you, which then you have a plethora of options. His backdash is good but it's recovery is slow. His damage comes from his super long combos lol. But you wanna know something cool ... if you block any of his strings into low laser that you can jump out of them? Try it. Stop complaining and go do your homework.

Don't get me wrong, she's definitely no Oro lol, but what I'm saying is, I doubt the average Joe from TYM would get very far abusing cr.MKxxSAII against a Hugo main.

One is a zoning tool that requires meter and leads to meh damage depending on where they are on the screen. The other is a meter-less combo starter that is safe on almost all the cast on block while leading into 30+%. It also creates ambiguous cross ups on certain knockdowns. The comparison was dumb.

You would have to be astronomically dishonest to say Kenshi "bodies" Freddy, Smoke, Skarlet, Cyrax, Raiden, Scorpion, Noob, Sindel, Shang etc. On the contrary, I do believe Kenshi still beats some of those characters, but the "only Kabal, Kung Lao and maybe Reptile" argument is laughably antiquated.

Best zoner in the game with full screen safe 50/50s. One of the best back dashes. Huge damage. Why does a zoner has to have that ridiculous amount of damage? It doesn't make any sense.

They are not actual 50/50s man. Not even the rush down is 50/50 mix-ups, except for the initial f2/trait grab (which can be MBb3 to prevent both). The trait grab is also full combo punishable, which is fair imo. Also, d12xxlaser in full combo interupptible as is f21xxlaser and b12xxlaser. It is all fuzzyable, and people that play the MU enough can get it very consitently making Zod scared to go in and get anything more than just chip damage from slash.

When we played it was pretty clear you didn't know the MU... But I am glad you are playing again and I'll be happy to walk you through it, but trust me when I say I was getting away with murder against you.

Zod is very well balenced charecter with many holes in weaknesses to exploit (especially his wakeup game and footsie game). This is a big difference compared to a charecter like MArtian who has relatively little weaknesses to exploit.

I agree with all of this except for Scorpion and maybe Liu Kang, I say maybe because I feel there were several things Kang players overlooked in the Kenshi matchup but I don't have a Kang player on hand and never got the chance to demonstrate, and even then, most of the best Kang players played another character that does well against Kenshi, (DJT with Cyrax, MIT with Reptile, ATL Redd with Smoke, Assassin with Skarlet)

Point is though, that's not 90% of the roster.

I feel like it was the other way round honestly, like, Kenshi definitely did have 8-2s and 9-1s, but it did get out of hand and some of his lesser showcased matchups were automatically being shoehorned into those numbers.

It has always made me LOL when I hear that its believed that any 1 player or even small group of players has the ability to talk Paulo into changing something. Paulo looks at the game and decides if whatever is being done is something that he wants to keep in the game or if its too much. He's a smart guy and knows the difference between something thats just annoying for players to deal with and something that actually needs to be changed.

I actually never said one word about the Sinestro PB bug. There were many MANY people in those threads bitching and calling it "game killing".. I was not among them.


Im constantly in a "catch 22" situation...

When I say nothing about or defend a "broken" tactic or move by saying we should wait and see, I get blown up as "someone who just wants a ridiculously broken game".

If I say something is broken or too much and should be addressed, I'm now this cry baby who doesnt want to level up or adapt. In fact, even if I dont say anything at all it is almost always perceived that i did say something which is the reason why something was nerfed.

So i'm either seen as or called "someone who wants a broken game" or "a cry baby who cant adapt".. Not saying that you personally have ever said this, but it does get said and is the perception of many.

Unlike 99% of TYM I don't view the game through my character's eyes, nor base my own tier opinions on Joker's matchups.

Zod wins way too many matchups and is too dominant not to be top 5.

Pig? Relaxed state? Dave (with all his begging for buffs I'm making an assumption). By your logic sinestro should be top 5 as well even though he has multiple 3-7s. Just because a character bodies all of the shitters doesn't mean he's top 5. Don't just use matchup charts as a basis for establishing tier lists.

Edit - For the record I'm not saying he isn't top 5. I'm saying he might now be. Personally I have him in the 4-6 range. But we don't know yet.
