The reason people think Raven is so bad is because they dont play the MU correctly. If you dash in at any time other than a blocked soul crush, you are doing it wrong.

thats day 1 stuff, the Raven matchup is just like Sinesto she zones you the fuck out and when she gets trait its worse and she can easily activate it/put you at fullscreen jut like Sinestro. all you can really do is land a MB rocket and make your way in, no smart Raven will keep doing soul crush for you to easily dash in lol

Raven, MMH and Zod don't come close to Zatanna. Sure GL's at a disadvantage in all of those but he can certainly win. Against Zatanna it's a new level, I mean it's hard to put into words how bad the Zatanna MU is lol

i have hardly any exp in the Zatanna matchup ive fought her 1 times or less so i cant say much on it but i can tell its bad no good maybe its 8-2 lol but MMH is horrific so is Raven , if youve ever played a really good Zod as GL that shit seems impossible he just has all the tools to beat GL his mobility and Zoning are just way too good and he gets good damage and his trait. you guys want to believe all these matchups are 6-4 but if they are then whats a 7-3? lol no good Zod or Martian should ever lose to a GL if they know th matchup and dont beat themselves they never will how is that 6-4? i say shit like Superman is 6-4 because he doesnt have a slght upper hand but its just that SLIGHT GL can win it if he knows what he's doing and cant land 1 or 2 more hits or gets a lifelead, even with the lifelead you arent safe against Raven Zod or Martian.

and for the record i dont think GL is horrible he just isnt top 10 and that isnt debatable

i guess you can try to make an argument for #10 but i dont think he's better than Bane lol

im not saying GL is terrible or bottom tier but how could he be top 10? who in there is he decisively better than? the upplayers say he has at LEAST 6 bad matchups (i say its more but thats another topic lol)
sometimes im downplaying but you guys upplay ALOT too. no im not terrible with the character im just aware that he's very average, he is capable but he's at disadvantage alot of the time. are there worse characters? obivously but dont be delusional and think GL is some god then play a decent Raven or Sinestro and realize how big of a deal mobility is lol

All I'm gathering is just like 3 bad MU's....so what's your point? Due to your character having a few MU's that are not in their favor, suddenly means they suck? This whole game is a rock paper scissors fest, with only very few if any(I'd have to check) that have absolutely no bad MU's, and by that I mean they would have mainly 6-4's. If there's a ton of 5-5's then it just means your character has to think a bit and not rely on auto pilot *cough*Aquaman*cough. A few bad MU's just means you have to think twice before mashing

Only a handful of characters aren't viable (the bottom 5 or so) so to question GL's viability is absurd. He's a top 12 character in the game and has the best footsie tool since Day 1 Superman. Once you get in a certain range it's GL's World and we're all just living in it. Not to mention he takes away jumping, which a lot of characters/players abuse thanks to lack of good AAs, at a good range with LM.
