Really? Because the only person I've ever played that consistently blocked ES was DJT. And I played him two weeks after I started playing Doomsdsay, so I didn't even mix it up at all. It's not about blocking it anyway, it's about the 3% chip and meter gain.

Ranting aside, level 3 is extremely impractical. MB B3 does not beat d1 ES, you're trippin hard brah.

By the by, I keep hearing your voice and thinking its Cage or Mr. Mileena. But I hear you are handsome.

Mb b.3 is low-immune breh, ours is at least. And our f.3, but that thing is slow.
Also 50% bonus damage and getting to wreck everything in your kit on a 6 second cooldown we can circumvent by half or more simply by doing any kind of ender and STILL having one of the best backdashes while the most you can hope to deal during the short time is MAYBE 20% if we let you open us up? Sounds plenty practical.

To clarify I liked the first part of your post.

You trying to argue bane match up numbers? Cause I have it listed as a 5-5. I'm not exactly sure what we're arguing. But even if the d1 misses, which it doesn't, there's a two frame gap between the two hits of ES. You can't b3 it brah. You'd have to time it perfect. I realize he out damages me. But it's a match up based on reads regardless. Same reason I have grundy as a 5-5.

Also I sound nothing like Cage tho.

I'm glad. Its funny, someone told me to be on the twerk team to gain fame on TYM and I said "Between Brad and Mr. Mileena I have no chance ;_;"

I'm not going for numbers, but I'm saying that MB venom doesn't beat Bane's level 3 f.2.d.3. That's all, you said it beat "all" of the enemy options and I figured I'd post one counter-example. We have it at 5-5 too (I think?). On our wake-up we also have MB VU now which is a "you have to respect it."

By the by, I was doing some testing I figured I'd share with you. Bane has this thing with his charge that he can make it a cross-up by running over the opponent's downed body at the right time. I noticed on certain things like late charge after b.3, DD has a similar thing going for him.

I don't hear cage enough. Just usually Cage is playing chef and I hear you talking off camera and think its Cage. More of a visual - audio linking habit I have.

Yeah, Brad and I were talking about cross ups with charge the other day. The setups for it were pretty cool actually.

Did you guys try doing a slow-stand into a stringed grab? I find that's a pretty nice tool at his disposal as well.

The entire match is based on reads. And is entirely even. You actually can do 33 after an mb venom and the only way grundy can interrupt it is if he knows you're going to 33 and does d2, but this is a risk because you can beat that out with d1 es free.

I was thinking of, sometimes, using 3xupward venom against his WC to mess up his WCC's, but it seems a little risky though.3xxtrait works sometimes as well. But yeah, i agree with you its a MU based solely on reads by both sides.

It most likely is, but it'd still be interesting to see how 1.06 Lobo fares in this matchup. The patch pretty much transformed him into a totally different character, with new setups and a bit of a zoning game (and most importantly, i have a wakeup option now), so I somewhat feel a bit more confident about it. But yeah, I still have no answer for pressure, and if I'm cornered, it's game. Definitely looking forward to playing this out soon.

I agree. Lobo is my secondary and when i am facing a rush down character or a character that has an easy way getting in it usually goes bad for me if my opponent knows what he is doing. Plus his normals suck big time when up close, except b12, and 2 can be interrupted if b1 is blocked. But still though, his dmg out put, present zoning and good spacing really make him a potential top 10 candidate in the future imo.

Any tips for fighting bane? I just got wrecked by a Bane who just charged at lvl 3 Venom. I managed to make most on debuff but he would just venom. random special. lvl 3. then charge. Do I have to be mor patient? cause that sucks

Expect when in the corner. Bane's charge in the corner cannot be avoided by jumping backwards, if you are cornered. That move has the same hit box as DD's MB Venom if Bane charges a cornered opponent.

what is dd-lex mu ? Played first time revolver today and it was so fkn hard . He always had some shit out + that armor .... This mu seems hard but maybe its because of lack of mu exp and skill lvl
