Anyone know if the scaling nerf affects ancestral/shaolin combos?

Also worth pointing out that f24 is now -8 but ancestral still gets a full combo with stun arrow of f243 which does 1% more. I think f243 is safe as well but can't remember at work.

I thought the finish to that string was -11?

Yeah if you finish the F2 string it's even worse on block at -11. I'm not sure what move exactly got a damage nerf, but I played a few quick games earlier and landed an X-ray combo that usually does 49% but instead did 47. Whatever move was affected seems to hurt all variations.
 
a few things I have noticed while playing
2 does stop some EX special moves without taking any chip damage such as Kanos ex ball
when you ex bo swing at the same time ( maybe a bit later ) vs scorpion's teleport the ex bo swing will autocorrect and hits scorpion before his teleport hits you
neutral jump 2 is still missing in some situations where it shouldnt
the last 1 might be old but damn KJ cant win any air battles vs scorpion :(

Anyone having troubles punishing Liu Kang flying kick? 22 should work but looks extremely inconsistent

Online I feel like you have to wait until he tries the back fist thing.
Even offline I have problems, it doesn't look like it is always punishable.
I tried using Kung Lao spin too since reversal always come out on the first available frame, and sometimes Liu Kang blocks...it's weird

In DF Liu Kang's flying kick is only -8 on block iirc, and possibly changes the later into the animation it is blocked.

Thanks for the vid. Good effort but the combos aren't optimal and you spammed the forum by posting in every thread.

Optimal midscreen was posted earlier in the combo thread and is

starter~Ex Low Chakram, ji1~Divekick, nj2, run 34~Up Kick~Shaolin Drop

I use:
starter xx BF4 (NP) run 34 ji dive kick run 34xxDB3 mid screen meterless (32-35%)
starter xx EXDB3 (NP) run 34 ji dive kick run 34xxDB3 but for one bar only does about 5% more
starter xx BF4 4 xx BF4 NP Ji3 xx diveckick 34 xx DB3 in the corner (about 36%: I'm pretty sure there are way better ones).

NJ run 34 ji dive kick run 34 DB3 (32%)

dive kick run 3 xx BF4 run (29%)

EXDB3 walk 34 ji dive kick run 34 xx DB3 (34%)


Without stamina:
starter xx BF4 (NP) ji dive kick B21 xx DB3 (29-31%)
dive kick B21 xx DB3 (24%)
