Question Why Does Bane Have To Be One Of The Worst?

This brought a tear to my eye. Really it did because that was beuatiful. But this is why good hearted players such as yourself deserve a better character because no matter how much work you put in that Batman player or Superman player or whoever is always going to have the slight and have to work less. Bane should be moved to be on there level so everyone wins in the end and we are all happy traveling and competing with no handicaps.

Good hearted players don't "deserve" characters, that is a logic that will lead people away from developing characters. I don't "deserve" things, I make them. Its what makes me a good player. Batman and Superman have to work less, but if I wanted to play as little of a game as possible I just flat out wouldn't play it. I play Bane not because of how much or little work I have to do, but because I enjoy the work I am doing.

If I want to compete, I will compete. Its not a handicap, and if it is then its not one that bothers me. This idea of "lets raise the lowers to the same level as the top" is what caused MK9 and the like to face a huge downfall, where the characters matter more than the player. I'll be happy to lower my chances to ensure the game can be balanced one step at a time.

Aug is correct. There is no need to degenerate into insults about someone's style of writing. If it bothers you all that much, point it out kindly, and if he persists, just leave. It's not like you have to read through this thread. (It bothers me too, but damn, taunts/insults are unnecessary)

However, SuperSaiyanYoshi, I do hope you understand that we promote proper netiquette, even if some here are more abrasive about it.

Bane has better frame traps than Superman. He has tick throws and 50/50s out the ASS. b.23 travels the same distance and command grab can't be escaped by back dash, you have to neutral jump and risk eating the double punch instead.

Bane can negate almost every wake-up in the game with Venom. Tack that on to armor in general, his REALLY GOOD FUCKING reach and the damage output going ballistic and you have a solid character.

Your Zangief talking point is shit. Characters in Injustice aren't NEARLY as fast as they are in Street Fighter. Don't even compare the two.

If you can't win with Bane or you don't like him, then drop him for Grundy(who's a true grappler) or pick up a different archetype altogether. Bane is fine save for a few tweaks that aren't anywhere near close to your complaints.

Thank both of you for the support and for understanding. I even went out of my way to change my Style of writing to suit everyone who was attacking me and people STILL are making fun of me. This Whole thread was supposed to be about Bane and why he has to be weaker than other characters in the cast but some how it Became about me. Anyway thanks for clearing it all up and Im glad it's over.

It is a handicap whether you Believe it or not because there is no way you can say Bane is on Equal footing with other characters like Superman or Batman. I know its lame to have it be this way but thats why this thread was created so we can fight for Bane's rights and have him be equal with other characters instead of being one of the weaker ones.

Explain how Bane's stuff is fine. I would really like to hear why you think Bane is perfectly fine and has no flaws and should stay the way he is forever. Bane isn't a aerial character so you should avoid jumping and being airborne with him as much as possible. It sounds like You are the one who is lacking with basic understanding on Bane's play style. Maybe my owns skills is the reason Bane is not high tier but if this is the case Ill be looking for you at Evo and other players to show me Im the reason Bane is weaker then other characters and it's not Bane himself.

I don't know... eventually they make you quit. I used to put this :16Bit at the end of every post. It annoyed everyone and some people blocked me. Just because I put an emote at the end of every post. It was like a sig... but yeah. I just stopped because I was tired of getting so much shit for it. Bane does not have better frame traps then Superman. If you were to give Bane the f23 string he would rocket up the tiers by that alone. It makes me wonder if any of you play against competent Supermans that know how to rush down and feed off the f23 respect and fear. Not supermans Who randomly Mash f23 breath with no hit confirms or thought behind it that anyone can beat. I wasnt the one who compared Bane to Zangief and it was another person who did. I told them they were wrong so I dont get why youre attacking me on that topic.

Bane is a weird character design, I wouldn't consider him a grappler.
He runs in does a big chunk of damage with a venom special then backs out unless he's in the corner, then he fucks shit up with wake-up guessing games where you either block and eat a command grab or try to jump/wake-up and eat a double punch/uppercut/AA . Or at least that's how I'm forced to play him online.

The purpose of their command grabs are different from Bane's.
Bane's can catch backdashes, and you can put armor on it.
With venom it pretty much does the same thing.

I never cared for Bane in TDKR, especially not his goat.se mask. It wasn't until I found out about his comic version that I found him interesting.
