CSZ is better than Cyrax... just use the run + punch then either combo, freeze or ground freeze or more run + LP = better offensive estrategy.

Also, another thing yeah lol I'm so sure Hanzo and anyone here are going to play each other at the "local" arcade... :roll:

Stop acting as if the DS isn't a good version of the game just because you don't like it....

Point is, you'll find people that like ALL the versions of UMK3....do you know how silly it sounds to say "lag fucked me up" when everyone knows it happens in online gaming? I don't believe in using lag to justify loses despite the players or characters when A. it happens online..B.it happens to both players most of the time and C. Like I said before, name one guy on here that will travel to Venezuela just to play Hanzo instead of MAME, DS or 360....

I assume the mod your reffering to is dreemer.

He doesnt have a 360 dude, because he doesnt want to sped 400 bucks on a system and another 200 on a stick. 600 bucks doesnt seem worth it to him to play 1 game, and I dont blame him at all, he barely has time for games right now. And at that kind of money, he could buy an arcade cab.

Im willing to bet if someone gave him a 360 and an ArcadEd stick, he would throw his copy of UMK3 for DS away dude.

Shut up DJ, I've thrashed you with my Cyrax plenty of times before. All I see you do is shit talk and complain.

On the other hand, Dubson is right. The DS is a fairly shitty platform for UMK3, and Hanzo was most likely not playing at his full potential.

No, he but he's played the 360 version I'm sure... :wink: as he even states in his point of view, in fact he also said he liked the MAME version as well. Notice he didn't state anywhere that he likes the 360 version either.. And I don't blame him for the money situation, I don't want to spend that much either...and as for PS3..forget that joke.

Well, I'm willing to bet that if someone gave me a time machine to play everyone on here personally live I'd throw away my DS too...

Such situations will never happen.....I'm not getting a time machine and I doubt him or anyone else on here will be given arcaded sticks and 360's

Ok, I don't want to argue about this anymore I've said what I needed to say. Shock is right, everyone makes witty jokes or brags sometimes...who cares? online or off that includes non-usa players. Later 8)

Damn right. Talk about the tier list or don't talk here. Non tier list related posts from here on will be erased whenever I see them and posters will be warned.

I'm not going to let the kids track mud all over another thread.

Right on, just want to let you know though I wasn't in any means referring to you. :wink: you're a cool dude and contribute much to MK with the vids, knowledge etc :)

So, anyone think Cyber Smoke should be higher or not? I've always thought he's more dominant then people give him credit for.

...possibly the only way to argue Sektor's validity,if not underdog status,on the list is by way of example. Me, Eric and CD had some awesome matches,especially Nightwolf vs Sektor. Now how does one of if not the best Sektor player go against top tier characters like NW or Kabal? Extreme aggresive and unorthodox gameplay. Classic Sub would never match up to expert players using top tier characters...his offense is just not there. Anyone else wanna back up Sektor?

I've played some very talented MK players on an arcade machine with my CSZ. I haven't lost in a Sektor v CSZ match yet. I've also played some very aggresive Kabal and other top tier chars too and only 1 loss by a cheap NW player.

There are plenty of really great players who either, are too lazy to join this site or have issues with Shock or Dreemer. I know a few that would apply to the latter. :lol:

DS, 360, & MAME are just for fun. Matches on machines are all the ones that REALLY count.

Well i never narrowed it down to "console gaming"...ive been playing umk3 since back when the Mall of the Americas was the shiznit spot for competitive arcade action. All major tournament action in Miami steered this way; my best freind was a district manager so i beat the crap out that machine months on end,for free. Now the shift to console gaming was a little awkward but thers still the same amount if not better competition online. Just speaking on my personal experience. We still have a bowling alley where a couple freinds bang heads coin-op style but FL machines are real scarce....BTW Kaiba u must be an mk god if u never lost against Sektor playing CSub. Wow.....never..........

Sektor's awesome, I use him a lot. Very strong character overall IMO, I love the fact that you can do his teleport in midair anywhere. 8)

I think the tier list is accurate to a cerain extent. It's just an overall generalization of what should happen. But anyones tier list isn't 100% accurate or even 90%. There's some characters that are high tier that alot of people are really bad with. I know a few people who are absolutly garbage with Kabal, and do good with C.Sub, and Liu Kang. I just think a tier list is 70% opinionated. My tier list would have Kung Lao near the bottom. Why, because I can easily beat a kung lao, and I'm complete garbage with him. I obviously won't beat a better player who picks him, but if were equal skilled than I know that I'll win. And there's some characters who are low tier that I have alot of trouble with. I have trouble against: Mileena, uSub, Kitana, Sheeva, and Sonya. When someone picks these characters I get really pissed.

Anyway, I think tier list are good, but they are just for general situations that may or may not happen.
