Cool, that first punisher.. never thought of it. I did figure out on my own to wait until the spin drops to avoid damage protection.. but now, maybe LordPsyborg's Kabal will know that edge too? Gah. :evil:

I think you should do some vids for Kano. Not alot of people use him, even less use him well. I for one would like to see some demonstrations on how to use him alot better.

There will eventually be a lot of vids, I'm just trying to get it up to 2 for each. Perhaps the video layout will look a bit better, maybe small thumbs and a grid or something eventually.

I didn't think that I would be seeing my name in a tier discussion topic, but now I actually DID look that up out of curiousity. I am entirely serious when I say this.

Shang Tsung should at least be in the top ten. He has a good auto combo, his advance juggles (although hard) are very high damaging, his throw is good, and he's incredibly hard to juggle.

He could be up there, but the problem is his real damaging combos (GE ---> Morph) are very rare in game. Most people can see when you're going to do a GE and the startup time doesn't help. If it was a little faster he could possibly be up there.

Plus he has one autocombo, and his only pop up is the GE. His uppercut and RH Suck. And he's only really useful in a morph, and you can't control when your going to morph back. It freezes you up and any run jabber has you. You can't move.

He's good for show and combo videos, but not very practical.

Pop ups aren't everything. His auto combo is 27% with jp start its i think 37%. He's almost Impossible to juggle. He's only useful in morph to those whom cannot use him. He can keep the opponet back with his fb's, and his GE, if well placed, is really useful. He's not like Kabal, or hSmoke where everyone can use him, and use him well. But if the person using him is very skilled with him, than he will be hard to beat.

Also I was thinking about some counter characters and I think that I'll make a list. Feel free to post your own.

The reason a tier list exists is to show what characters are more effective than others and give them a rank. Shang can be pretty deadly, but how many people use Shang Tsung at all let alone well? Very few, because he's very difficult to use. Kabal is very easy to use, score damage with, etc, he's a threat by the frame, that's why he's number 1.

That does work a lot better than the current way to Juggle Male Ninjas.

The Current 3 aaHPs is a bit hard. A canceled aalplp followed by the meaty canceled HP is easier, but does less damage, meaning more dashes, making it a BIT harder.

Once you you break the pattern, no matter which pattern you choose, you will lose too much height to continue forever. You can do the exact same thing with HPHP, HP as LPLP, HP, it's just a matter of doing it right.

I always mess up that hphp,hp inf on male ninjas. I just keep that to Stryker who I get it almost every time on now. The lplp,hp one I haven't tried yet so I don't know if I'd be comfortable enough doing that instead.
