Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
I don't get some people griping over some recycled stances, moves when SF, Tekken and Smash have also done it for years....too. And do people forget he drastic changes from MK 9-MKX? lol

Sure I2 looks similar to Injustice 1 in a few ways more than MK 9 to MK X, but that was actually one of my issues with MKX. They changed too many specials and in my head the first few months I kept hitting MK 9 specials but instead changed certain moves to B, F instead of B, B a la Scorpion's spear...Scorpion players you know what I mean.

What about the many things that are fresh? Like gear system? The fact that we can literally create our favorite characters however we want? Some may not care for that but that's a big feature and replay value aspect, I don't think the people who just care about tourneys realize how big that is to majority who love customizing and how artistic people can be with shit like that. Newer gameplay elements like breaking now apparently, more techs, more characters, most likely better netcode, how at the pace NRS is going this game will probably sell more than Injustice 1 which sold insanely well in it's own right

Either way this game will be sick.

Game has barely shown any gameplay and here come the typical tym shit posters bashing it. I guess tekken is lazy because a lot of the games have the same or similar moves? How about chill and watch for more info.
Yup lol, glad other people see it. Fighters have been doing this shit for years yet for some reason people bash NRS lmao...who's actually been doing much better than their competitors past 5 years(not even talking just tourneys, but sales wise, online, popularity etc) This is almost nothing though compared to YT comments, good lord. I saw one dope try to insist that MVC3 looked better graphically and more realistic than Injustice and MK does(not kidding) the haters are coming out in full force but who cares, they're the minority.

I mean that's easy for you to say coming from a game like Tekken where they do that every game, it's just that with Injustice the moves/gameplan of some characters were so boring that people might not want that back. Never mind that NRS' signature is changing things up drastically every game.
It's not just Tekken, though. This is something a majority of fighting games do, actually. NRS is just known for going a different route than literally every other fighting games. But if you have a background in other fighting games, this is pretty standard.

It's actually Freddy Marvel
Yeah, they did mention before that specific gear gives access to specific moves so I definitely think those were just the base versions of Bats/Aquaman we were seeing, and there's plenty new moves to unlock in the game.
yeah if thats the case i wouldnt be mad at the recycled movesets and the roster better be 30 at launch or more lol

I am really glad that they have kept returning strings and mechanics, but remember, some of the strings could just be place holders, but hopefully they will have new strings.

Batmans F2, B2, B23, 112, 123 are all decent, but if I still hope he gets newer and better moves and strings.

I hate the straight grapple hook, hopefully they update some stuff, especially the slide, as it was -10 on hit...

Normalize grab immunity.
Not yet lol. I1 you can hold down and it would block all low attacks. Where in sf you have to hold dow back
I think those kind of teleport moves make back to block weird. Almost instant crossup? I'd much rather it'd be teleport then input an attack. But if they do go that route I hope it's at least an easy block and punish.

How would they listen if the game was redone from scratch? Those are two uncorrelated things. People learn more about the game and discuss it then come to decisions on how those tools are and people can listen to those opinions, that's how.
We've learned a ton about Injustice over the years. All that knowledge can be applied to a years worth of prerelease adjustments, and then anything post release. If we get to discuss it after, it's on the backbone of many things already discussed in 2015 and 2014 and 2013. On Legacy, they should have already listened, so say MMH would have a punishable teleport on release date. We've already progressed years worth of discussion as opposed to talking about a "new fish summoning 10F normal of Aquaman" Day 1 because everything has been revamped and we're trying to fix so many things.

Raiden and Jin were not broken in any capacity, just strong. Kitana having infinites is different though. You're insinuating it'd be too hard to balance the game because of variations but that's just a cop out because it's more than possible to at least get a generally good balance. I say the balance of a game is determined by the difference in strength of the best character and worst character and right now MKX is a hell of a lot more balanced than before. It's just that with a new game changing up things drastically it means characters are going to move around more drastically but it doesn't mean it's not growing towards a better balance.
Bro, you just said Raiden wasn't "broken in any capacity" lol. I think you should revisit that statement.

You say MKX is more balanced than before. I agree. Mainly due to extended support is the game more and more balanced with time. Legacy gaming is pretty much a deeper version of extended support into the next game, which helps with overall balance. I can't even think of a game that has gotten worse with balance when continuing off of previous games.

You can't say they would've adjusted Raiden better in MKX if he had the same moves, they didn't do it in MK9.
Can't say in fact, but I'm pretty confident that if MKX was legacy game from MK9 he wouldn't have released with a game breaking mid.

If you agree a lot of the balance decisions by them have been terrible then how can you suddenly make your argument that said company would balance better simply because they have the last game's base to work from? I personally don't see that as true at all because it's not just about the tools, it's how well they balance them.

In saying all of this though I think we need to wait until the game is further finished first and we're sure this is actually happening lol.
From exactly that, having learned from the last game. I've been critical of some of the decisions before, but there is just noooooo way they can release Inj2 with the exact same MMH teleport, the same Batgirl antics, the same Trident Rush on block, the same Zod trait, the same MMH uber damage OTG's, the same Green Arrow uselessness, the same Cyborg trait, etc. There's no way possible these guys aren't changing the way these tools operate, or changing them altogether, to go with the core character. So I might not be in love with their balancing, but at least it already starts out with some positives from the last game to build on, rather than Superman with a new F32 to replace the old F23 lol.

All too easy...

In injustice 1 if you held straight down it would actually croutch block in both directions for you, so if you actually want to cross someone up it had to be an overhead attack. If the teleport is a high, mid, or low, then you dont have to worry about it crossing up

I didn't go through all the pages so sorry if this has been posted already but here is a low quality video that shows a bit more gameplay than the first one they showed earlier at E3. I love the Black Superman costume and the Batman one at that same point in the video lol. Shits fucking epic!

It's not like characters are 100% the same, anyways. We can see Superman's got a new move in that second video, Aquaman seems to have a new throw judging by the first gameplay trailer, new supers for everyone.....enough small changes like that can add up to a pretty different-feeling character when all is said and done.

Not to mention the small cosmetic changes. You can't tell me that Aquaman's new tentacle FTD isn't way cooler.

Wonder why Batman's Batarang he threw was red with that other outfit?

I'm reading a lot " This is a smart move because NRS is super incompetent"

" They can't be burden with making a new game because they will fuck it up, so maybe they won't this time?"

People with such little faith in the developers really defend their games so hard lol

Why would you think the direct sequel to a top selling/critically acclaimed game would be completely different?
I had high hopes? I personally hated injustice and based on NRS's track record it seemed like a reasonable thing to expect.

I DONT WANT ANOTHER INJUSTICE. I want a game like Injustice but different lol

Still too early to completely critize it yet, so I'm still crossing my fingers.

Okay, fair enough to not like the game (which you could do without bashing it), but this is only the 2nd game in the franchise. MK1 is not much different from MK2. Or MK2 to MK3. If you want Injustice but different, might have to wait for Injustice X to drop in 20 years or so.

Wow - I kind of shocked at the PUSH back and negative response Injustice 2 has received over the reused animations and combos. It's not just here but various message boards and forums. To me it looks really good but then again my 1st NRS game was MKX and i never played Injustice 1.
