This post shows you're shit at marketing. Imagine WWE or something w the type of atmosphere u just described. You know who gets it? LI Joe. He didn't win evo 2016 but in a way he did. He took firm advantages of his moments and capitalized allowing viewers at home familiar w thebgame and unfamiliar w the game feel something w him. He gained so many more fans than "download complete" did.I voted sonic, djt, king, cowboy and MIT
Ive won multiple tournaments in each game, but not in MURIKA. Who cares if you've won 20+ tournaments over in eu. Only once did i get to go to america in those 4 years. And that 1 time was a bit of an ordeal anyway.
Why do you have to bring Madzin up every time?
Ok but what about the players now that were around then?
I'd chat shit before but not now because there's nothing to gain.
Orrrrrrrrrrr, you could say that all the oldschool heads are only loud now because you're not actually doing anything anymore, come at me BRO. With the exception of people like REO ofcourse.
Times change, competition evolves, people mature.
Gone are the days where the NRS community is dominated by men 30+. We've entered a new age. I suppose its kind of ironic that the younger generation are more mature about it.
So w this logic remove MIT and djt immediately because I was a fucking nightmare for the state of NevadaThis thread is so good it even brought back Coolwhip lol. In my opinion when ranking best NRS players, you can't let achievements from one game overpower achievements from another game. Every game equals eachother. So if player A is better than player B at MK9, but Player B is better than player A at both Injustice and MKX, player B wins by default. So even if you were #1 in the world in one game (for example REO MK9) if somebody else has MKX and Injustice over you, they are a better NRS player.
That's how I would rank it anyways
I agree he wouldn't be top3@Pig Of The Hut I have another perfect example that disproves your Evo theory more. Let's talk about Jupiter in Injustice. You would say Jupiter is one of the best Injustice players in the world right? He probably was the best in the world at one period of time. You would say he is easily, undebatably top 3 in the world of all time in Injustice right? Well he has 0 Evo medals.
How could somebody with 0 Evo medals be considered one of the best of all time? It's because of their CONSISTENCY. Yeah Jupiter never placed top 8 at Evo before, but his being able to place top 8 all year round in basically every single other tournament besides Evo gives him that recognition of best of all time. Would you put Noobe, yourself, Pimpimjim, Slayer, etc. over Jupiter in Injustice for you guys' Evo medals because he doesn't have one? Of course not, his consistency all year round in Injustice outside of Evo puts him above all the Evo placers besides Theo and Sonic
Just when u thought @YOMI FOREVER KING prop fishing couldn't be duplicated tweedy posts lolRemember when PL said that i'm an online warrior and I double eliminated him at NEC?
Good times.
But then I got mauled by Liu Kang and got 9th .
Bad times.
U should see me king 16 bit and tom do this live at Denny's w a party of 20 at 2amI love this thread. I played mk9 and inj but i wasn't competitive or even knew tournament's for fighting games existed. So to see the older players talk about placements and what went down in the old games is awesome. Keep it going im enjoying it lol
Well that's on you to make the decision, are you a competitor or an entertainer first? This post shows you're shit at marketing. Imagine WWE or something w the type of atmosphere u just described. Let's take a look at Yomi: they could have released 20 videos a week for the scene, players, game helping brand themselves better and market themselves and the game. What they did w their time was super wasteful.
A lot of you young ins don't understand but one day you will. People are quickly forgotten after they're no longer dominate. Here today/gone today
So now you're just sorta being an asshole because I am a competitor and an entertainer. I was a competitor and entertainer when in 2011-2014 I was outplacing your ass and I was also a competitor and entertainer when I kicked ur ass in 2015Well that's on you to make the decision, are you a competitor or an entertainer first?
I don't do this to entertain others, I do it to crush their dreams. So what you're saying is that you and PL are only remembered now because you're loud?
It'd be hype if either of you would win tournaments still, but since you're not, what weight do your words have to truly draw people in?
It's a double edged sword
Also foxy 16 bit was a competitor and entertainerWell that's on you to make the decision, are you a competitor or an entertainer first?

1v1 records don't mean alot in the grand scheme of things. It's about everything, how you do vs everyone. That's like saying Harley Quinn is higher than Batman on the Injustice tier list because she beats him. No, Batman does better vs the whole cast than Harley does, so Batman is the better character overall. Or that's like saying I always beat 16Bit in MK9, so I'm higher on the MK9 player list than him. That's not how that works. 16Bit has more top 8 placements than me. You might be the Terry Bros' demon, but that doesn't mean you do better against the whole community than them in all 3 games or place as high as they do in all 3 games. I could say you are debatable with MIT, but DJT is the absolute number 2.So w this logic remove MIT and djt immediately because I was a fucking nightmare for the state of Nevada
12-0 vs brothers in both games across 4 years. Hold that

Yeah I was just trying to use an example Pig would understand haha. Couldn't really think any of anyone else that beats a higher ranked player alotFor the record I won in tournament when you used Kung Lao. So not "always".

You can be both! I am still that today, sure I was not a top player in mkx past that day but remained an entertainer and advocate of the scene.
I've always been an advocate of the scene,
Promoter, competitor, entertainer while I was winning and while I was losing. When I was making big bucks I still donated to players to get them to events, hosted events, hosted streams so unknown players could be found.
I'm remembered for being dominant for years and oops sorry I can't smoke pot all day and play mkx. I choose focus on my career while still helping the scene because you current top players are fucking ass at it.
When you were losing and winning you've done nothing of the sort. Maybe you just can't, maybe leadership isn't in your blood. If that's the case I feel bad for you when winning isn't working out so much anymore because then you'll be forgotten
HmmmYeah I was just trying to use an example Pig would understand haha. Couldn't really think any of anyone else that beats a higher ranked player alot
:0This is where the thread goes to aids.
Why would I expend the effort to get player X to event Y. When I'm the first of the internationals to become a staple entrant at tournaments, its honestly not worth my focus. Nobody this year has traveled as much as I have, it aint easy. If anything I have helped bring hype to the scene through introducing and evolving players like Madzin, but ultimately hes not winning so hes forgotten.
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't me that organized an entire donation drive to get u and the brothers over here in 2012?This is where the thread goes to aids.

I dont see any American even giving thought to helping the scene globally, which is what the focus should REALLY be. Until the day the scene isnt entirely USA focused, then perhaps, but not now.

Yea well if more of you overseas had a little bit of sto9rm in you your scene could and would grow bigger fasterThis is where the thread goes to aids.

The last efforts were PND in 2012 and Madzin for MLG Dallas, both of which ofc you had your parts in. So is the entirety of what you're speaking of all on your shoulders? PL, REO, 16bit etc had no help in furthering the scene either, infact I'd say historically REO and 16bit have been terrible advocates for bringing in international competiton (WHICH SHOULD BE THE MAIN FOCUS) through playing as marvas and just shitting on internationals respectively.
KDZ, also another TERRIBLE example of what the scene needs, his skill gap is only matched by his arrogance and ignorance gap (at least when he won evo)
