I am not sure what gimmicks you are referring to. The strings have poor range but all leave Cyborg at +3 on block. You can also cancel into the grapple and run away.All you have to do is stop the gimmicks at the beginning of the round and cyborg is lunch meat
And d,f+2 can be stuffed... Besides b+1,2,3 is safe on block without the cancel but his range on his string are terrible... The theory on his iafbs is busted till someone can do that 100%... Much like doing just frame egf in tekken with kazuya... I might be tripping when I said he is bottom 5 damn if there arent better characters like hawkgirl who can stop that strategy and expose his many weaknesses when someone with good mid screen tools ...
I can see if I was on some trolling stuff and ignorant to his strengths but I can tell you now that gimmicks dont outlast an overall well rounded character.. Not to mention gimmicks get nerfed usually and he needs that gimmick badly

Cyborg is fine the way he is at the moment. He is a character that is execution heavy in a game where most of the characters are very simple to use. That is his biggest "weakness".
