Lol, I just squeaked into Ultra Bronze with Akuma. I wouldn't be much better than a Bronze with Urien... I don't even remember a single combo with him, and never did a V-Trigger setup outside of Trials.

Season 1 Mika wouldn't be a top 5 character in the current iteration of sfv. You'd know that if you knew anything, but hey maybe continue to ignore the points I posted and post random nonsense, I still just think you're salty that you're 0-10 vs my Mika lifetime.

That's why I'm here. We'll get you throwin aegis reflectors in no time.

Could probably teach you a thing or two about akuma as well but we can just ignore that.

It's all so very confusing.
What the hell is Urien's Aegis Bnb? I cant for the life of me remember. Its INsertNormalHere x Aegis x something.

If you have a second.. what are the ABSOLUTE most important combos to learn on Urien *if* and lets just say, *IF*, I were to pick him up alongside Akuma. Cough.

K. Important to know that the first hit of your combo after aegis is used depends on how close your opponent is to the reflector to start with, if they're really close you need to use a light or cr mp for the first bounce. Also can change depending on if you hit them into the aegis with your cancel or if the cancel leaves them in front.

Low starters: cr mk xx neutral aegis, st mp, reflector bounce, st hp uncharged, reflector bounce, st mp, reflector bounce, cr hp xx up fireball, hk tackle.

Overhead starter: f mp xx f hp target combo xx neutral aegis, same combo as above. If you hit this from far first hit after aegis cancel has to be cr mp to make them hit the mirror the first time.

Long range whiff punish: ex tackle xx neutral aegis, reflector bounce, st hp uncharged, reflector bounce, st mp, reflector bounce, cr hp xx up fireball, hk tackle.

No charge confirm: any starter xx ex fireball xx neutral aegis, gets tricky here cause depending on the distance and the opponents character model the fireball will cause them to hit the aegis a different amount of times

Combos starters that work with second aegis activation.

Ex tackle xx neutral aegis unsafe on block but no one really knows that so just do it if you want, vs good people try and confirm it though.

Ex fireball xx neutral aegis.

Corner only: f mp xx f hp xx close reflector, walk up, cr hp, cr hp xx mk knee, f mp.

None of these are super optimized but they work in most situations vs the whole cast so feel free to use em, experiment though uriens got a lot of different combos/resets.

As for regular combos to learn. Try to end your combos with headbutt for pressure but if they're crouching use the tackles.

St mp, cr mp xx hk tackle or hp headbutt.

Cr lk, cr lp xx hp headbutt or lk/ex tackle.

Cr lp x3 xx lk/ex tackle or hp headbutt.

Cr lp, st lp xx st mp xx hk tackle or hp headbutt.

Cr mp, cr lp xx hp headbutt or lk/ex tackle.

Cr mk, cr lp hp headbutt or lk/ex tackle.


Counter hit combos

St mp, cr hp xx lp headbutt(cancel first hit of cr hp) cr hp xx up fireball, hk tackle.

Close only: cr mp, cr hp same ender as above.

Cr mp, cr mp xx hk tackle or hp headbutt.

Cr mk, cr mp xx hk tackle or hp headbutt.

It's all so very confusing.
I was pretty excited to get back into V with Akuma, but it just bled away suddenly and when i did manage to battle my way in to time to play, I just didnt feel like it. I might give Urien a shot and see if he keeps me interested. If not, I think Im just gonna have the face the fact I'm just not interested right now.

some stuff. not optimal and definitely not a complete list. but shows enough basic confirms to get you ready for matches and shows enough resets to at least let you know what you wanna try and learn.
