WTF are you even talking about? You telling me no mixups stem from a slow moving fireball? Or being able to cancel sweep in trigger? She got no overhead? You must not be keeping up, because I already corrected myself. BTW, pretty sure you still owe my Mika some matches since she now has to play real SF.Why is this misinformation being liked?
The character does not have mix-ups and has arguably the worst pressure in the game now you have to frame trap with 5f st.mk which pushes people away from you
If you've got a button and a throw, you've got a mixup. End of story.WTF are you even talking about? You telling me no mixups stem from a slow moving fireball? It's just sad seeing someone live in perpetual unhappiness because of their own stubbornness. If you've got a button and a throw, you've got a mixup. End of story.
lmao u say that then u say the bolded lmao.Just to clear up more of the goddamn misinformation in this thread:
Resets don't require an airborne state, that's just one prominent method of landing them in this game because they often lead to ambiguous guess situations for the opponent (left-right mix-ups, overhead-low, cmd grab/normal, etc etc).
If you cut your damage short in order to make your opponent hold a guess for the follow-up and that follow-up can potentially lead to even more damage, it's a reset. If the opponent doesn't have to guess how to defend against the follow-up and/or it doesn't potentially lead to any more damage it's just being bad.
@super mario This is the part of the quote you need to focus on.If you cut your damage short in order to make your opponent hold a guess for the follow-up and that follow-up can potentially lead to even more damage, it's a reset. If the opponent doesn't have to guess how to defend against the follow-up and/or it doesn't potentially lead to any more damage it's just being bad.
It keeps people in check is what I meant. It was all over post about mixups/pressure. People see the sweep and get hit by the projectile. And you go ahead and never use her overhead and have people block you low all day.Cancelling sweep into a true blockstring or an unsafe gap is not a mix-up
The fact that you even mentioned Juris overhead means there's no point in this going any further
St. Mp is like one of his best buttons but all of those are good options. Don't forget about F. Hp (Lariat) that's a good one too. What's Alex's best tick option to setup POWAHBOMB? Character is so fun, can't wait for his 3S skin to release.
EDIT: Looking at the frame data. Which option is best to tick out of cr. lp, st. lp, and st. mp?
I hope I'm using the right terminology, but the f.hp is more a mixup than a tick I think.St. Mp is like one of his best buttons but all of those are good options. Don't forget about F. Hp (Lariat) that's a good one too.
Wait no yea you're right my badI hope I'm using the right terminology, but the f.hp is more a mixup than a tick I think.
And I tick with st.lp usually. Especially after a crossup.
So is jump in, Light Button tic throw a thing?I hope I'm using the right terminology, but the f.hp is more a mixup than a tick I think.

With Alex, you can j.LK > power bomb or j.LK > LP > power bomb.So is jump in, Light Button tic throw a thing?
Learning so much from you guys, thanks a ton! With Alex, you can j.LK > power bomb or j.LK > LP > power bomb.
LP and EX power bomb have the most range.
As far as I know all the input shortcuts for demon are gone. The only exception is that you can still enter the last 3inputs as one input. So lp, lp, f+lp+hk. Is how you enter it now. Older shortcuts made it easier/better for Kara cancels but they're all gone as far as I can tell. What's akumas 'instant demon tech'?
Huh? Lol I'm confused.Nvm I checked it out and there's a new way to do it with plinking. It's actually pretty sick.
Plink mk with your triple punch button and you vskill which you cancel with just f+lk+hk. Useful since it also parries into demon if they attack.
Plinking. Priority linking.Huh? Lol I'm confused.
