Well correct me if i'm wrong but Scar only said buffalo could not defeat ninjakilla in a different setting. He didn't talk about himself. Buffalo truly had the right to put scar in his place put he did it very poorly.I mean I agree that he overreacted, but I don't blame him for putting the guy in his place. I mean I wouldn't have gone THAT nuts but I'd probably say something to him like "ok you want to talk shit dude, talk shit now you lost" and be on my way. It does give Buff the right to tell his ass off depending on what he said especially, if someone did that to me or you I'm sure you wouldn't be pleased online. People don't realize how humiliating and such it is to mock someone now days online, it's a big deal. You can ruin or mess up someone's rep or name. Not cool. I would put Scar as much at fault for starting the drama, because my original point stands in that regard if he hadn't started anything I doubt Buff would have reacted like that. But like I said I do think Buff overreacted and went too nuts for show or he just has a big temper, but I don't blame him for WHY he did it if that makes sense to you. Hopefully he cools it next time and Scar learned something as well. I wouldn't say he came out on top when you talk game then don't back it up honestly, just my opinion. It kind of reminds me of that boston closer few years back who had the balls to say he was just as good or better than Mariano Rivera, then got zonked in those same situations. He later apologized but already looked like a fool for running his mouth and not backing it up.
When I've gone to Evo the smell of some of the kids there is repulsive. Hygiene is a real issue this has been mentioned in numerous articles. When I go to compete I'm there to use my own controller plug it in play my game have a good time and get bodied by people who are far better than me. What I'm not there to do is smell people, have them spit in my face, or even get close to my face. I don't care what you say to me, I don't care how loud you are in saying it, just stay out of my space. In no way was what he did “wrong”. The fact that this question is even being asked is silly. All he did was had a genuine flash of raw emotion. He was yelling “ft2 boyz” letting out his frustrations.
If you know the backstory, the popoff was absolutely deserved. Y’all are acting like he put hands on Scar or threw something or spit on him or some shit. This used to happen all the time back in the day when there were genuine rivalries and beef.
This was all about the game. Sorry but y’all are way too soft it this was “overboard” to you.
Yeah he definitely got a little too close to him in his face, but again, it’s not like he was throwing out personal attacks or anything.
Lighten up and quit being so sensitive people.
He should have neutral ducked the initial finger pointing freakout (clearly a high) and gotten a krushing blow d2 punish irlScar is very mature . cause if it was me i would had uppercut buffalo into the moon
He literally said that was the reasonOr maybe he didnt want to punch someone over a videogame because that is just a dumb and unnecessary thing to do as a reasonable human being?
It was just a joke that he was likely high when he was posting his argument based on his "ol dirty blunt" or whatever username. Not meant to be serious lolMatix, can't tell if this is a joke or not. Clarify please?
Watch out we got a badass over hereill punch anyone in the face over a videogame.... for any reason...
u should watch out im dangerous
In fact if I had the gif creation skills I would totally make/edit a gif of this. Someone on tym please do this! LolHe should have neutral ducked the initial finger pointing freakout (clearly a high) and gotten a krushing blow d2 punish irl
Did he do anything wrong? No. Could he have handled that better? Yes.
Definitely wasn't the most elegant display of excitement. Because of how angry he seemed, Buffalo came off as an aggressor instead of one who defended himself, and Scar is getting props for acting mature in the situation. Nothing bad happened, but it was poorly handled by Buffalo.

Buffalo definitely did something wrong here. Basic human behavior dude, If you can't see that I have some concerns.
Watch out we got a badass over here
Exactly, volunteers anyone? In fact if I had the gif creation skills I would totally make/edit a gif of this. Someone on tym please do this! Lol
Buffalo's behavior was uncalled for. He played well, got his redemption and then he acted like an asshole. Some of yall are completely oblivious of how toxic other established FGC's lol. And listen, I'm not saying it was class act of Buffalo. But that's besides the point. Personally for me, pop offs should be disrespectful, salt invoking and to the point. You need to act like it was no big deal to win. Thats the succesful one. NRS scene is pretty modest though. I just laugh at all these internet tough guys talkin like they bout to beat someone, like dude get a hold of your insecurities lmao.
And whats with yall bringing his appearance into the matter? Saying he looks like a school shooter (im pretty sure someone said that here, or Maybe it was a YT comment), and the dumbass who stereotyped Buffalo as the spoiled white CoD kid who disrespects his mom. You gotta look a certain way to popoff? Yall sit here, and publicly shame a kid for his appearance even tho he's done nothing to you while talkin about how to behave at events - how about you guys learn how to behave as people. You dont just make the FGC look bad, you make TYM look bad. I've never seen people be this petty on here holy moly
So there's nothing petty about shaming a kid for his appearance, comparing him to school shooters (which is no joke might I add), saying he "probably" smells disgusting and whatnot? It's not like he murdered someone. The only thing he did was arguably overreacting at an event with emotions running wild.Buffalo's behavior was uncalled for. He played well, got his redemption and then he acted like an asshole.
Nothing petty about it.
This is ridiculous. When I've gone to Evo the smell of some of the kids there is repulsive. Hygiene is a real issue this has been mentioned in numerous articles. To me this isn't a question on whether or not skar talking shit merited a popoff. It's about whether or not it's okay to get into peoples personal space. It's not. I don't see how you draw parallels to being sensitive over that. You attend these events to play and watch talented players compete not share germs and BO.
Cut your nails, brush your teeth, take showers and stay out of my space. Yours Truly,
-A Sensitive Snowflake
But Scar was the one who flipped him firstChildish. Pop off for a few seconds is fine, but throwing middle fingers and explicits on stream is sophomoric. Be the bigger man and shake his hand. Keep your hurtful behavior off stream.
https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1097774508541382661Im out of the loop, what happened there?
I don't know if I'd say "poorly" I think he made his point but overdid it. I heard he said something more than that about Buff, but I mean at this point doesn't matter since it's over and done with. Scar said something about Buff, Buff beat him then screamed in his face both give fingers to each other. End of story. I'm not saying anyone is innocent but just saying this entire thing could have been prevented had one person not spoke ill of another player he doesn't even know no less. It doesn't always but it can, especially when coming from someone like him. Guys like Scar, SF etc everyone knows who they are, there are people who are blind followers to these players and just believe whatever they say due to popularity. I've kind of been there myself in the past during the online 3D era and some 2D MK's. It's really the same drama except now days it's with offline tourneys and twitter instead of MKO, TYM online drama since NRS games are more tourney viable. But to me drama is drama and it's really not necessary all I'm saying here. Just play the game, tip your cap to your foe and may the best man win. I don't understand this need to talk shit, show off. If someone talks smack, showboats you and the person don't do anything they're taking it laying down. I respect people who stand up to bullies. If it gets ugly, so be it. Wouldn't have happened in the first place had that one guy not started to begin with. That's how I see it.Well correct me if i'm wrong but Scar only said buffalo could not defeat ninjakilla in a different setting. He didn't talk about himself. Buffalo truly had the right to put scar in his place put he did it very poorly.
What someone says about a person doesn't necessarily affect said person's rep. How they deal with it is far more important. Of course more serious stuff like rape allegations do have direct impact.
Some beef on twitter really doesn't.
If you can't get your behavior in check, you shouldn't be competing anyway.
The only thing scar learned here is buffalo can't keep his cool.
Shit happens, both made mistakes but to me Buffalo really dropped the ball here.
This is true, was watching Tekken tourneys last week and saw this lol. I think people who think it's "NRS exclusive" are ignorant obviously. There's drama in all scenes. Some of yall are completely oblivious of how toxic other established FGC's are lol. And listen, I'm not saying it was class act of Buffalo. But that's besides the point. Personally for me, pop offs should be disrespectful, salt invoking and to the point. You need to act like it was no big deal to win. Thats the succesful one. NRS scene is pretty modest though.
