What does Sonya have that Jacqui and Tanya doesn't? Jacqui is demolition with unlimited grenades. Think about it Sonya is only able to do 2 grenades now, they even slowed down her overhead. They kept jacqui's overhead the same, and she can do 2 rockets in one combo, causing damage that Sonya wishes she could get. Not only that, Jacqui has better mix than Sonya now and She's safe, Tanya is in a league of her own outshining Cassie with her mobility, and zoning "which is a key factor in this meta of the game"
Sonya's mobility is better than Jacqui's imo. Her divekick , jump arc, dumb jip, walk speed all help her mobility. Zoning in this game is still a pretty moot point because of the run button. You can neutral duck jacqui rockets an walk your way in. I Know you can MB the rockets but if you just block, that's a resource that u have to spend while they are just walking and blocking. Plus on a hard read you can run up and whiff punish up rockets from Jacqui in the neutral.Yeah the low rocket is a thing, but its not like its suuuper duper godlike it's just a tool they have to think about while getting in. Sonya gets prettyyy good meterless damage as well it might not be 40%, but there's nothing wrong with 35-37% meterless which SF & demo get I believe. Damage isn't everything and tbh I think sonya as a whole character is better than Jacqui. Variations aside I'm not sure how i'd view FA VS SF OR Demo ect.. SF also can zone WHILE getting in because of that drone which makes her uber dumb.

Cassie Vs Tanya I really don't know the MU number but Tanya may win in mobility but Cassie holds her own everywhere else. The IAG in Hollywood don't give af about that teleport(unless its pyro) and I don't think Tanya can hang up close with cassie. I'd like to see the pyro vs spec ops MU tho that shit would be hilarious lol

EDIT: We as a cassie community aren't finished with her entire chart yet but I feel a wee bit confident that her MU chart would look better than tanyas as a whole.

Cassie might not be in top 10 discussion but her hollywood toolset allows her to deal with almost any situation. She may not dominate much of the cast but I feel she like doesn't get dominated by anyone.

I don't sell Avon.
That's why the grading system is much more effective than a number system...

But less fun that speculating actual numbers like Top 5 and Top 10 lol
Oh I prefer the grading system, for sure, but even that shows there's a ton of viable characters in this game now. Numerical order is just funny as the downplaying always humours me to no end.

Most humble shit talker ever!!!
I also don't think it's fair to count Triborgs variations as separate characters and not the rest!
Yeah yeah they're move set and play style is a lot different but so is Kitanas Mournful and Takedas Ronin but they ain't counted as separate characters.

Pyro and Naginata both bop both all of Cassie variations

One for three off the roof
I'm of the opinion that all variations should be considered separately, not just tools, and utilization of their universal normals change, but also MU numbers can fluctuate heavily from variations. Looking just at the character dicks it all up, I have felt that way since launch.

I think Sonya deserves a mention. That tracking shot in Special Forces is fucked up and Demo is still dumb, so the two of them should put Sonya as a whole in the conversation.
That stupid God damn tracking shot has better tracking than anything else in the game.

Got a move that has shitty tracking? It's because all of the good tracking was put into that stupid shot. Everything else was told to piss off.

Yeah it's fuckin annoying lol

Yooooo from the looks of the thread it's like ALOT of the cast has something in their variations that could compete for a top 10 spot or close to a top 10 spot and no one is really sure because lists are BS and also subject to interpretation by players who struggle against various tactics.

Yet this game is vastly unbalanced while y'all arguing over 20 different characters who should be top 10... smh.

So are you saying naginata and pyro both have better MU charts than all of Cassie's variations ?
Yeah i'm saying that.

Pyro Kobu and Naginata together as a whole only has 2 losing matchups. She can handle everyone else in the roster.

I'm also saying that Pyro and Naginata beat all 3 of cassie's variations

Balanced does a lot more meterless damage and gains a better push.

Offline the mix up with Possessed becomes hit or throw, rather than overhead or low demon. Low demon is pretty easy to react too.

Of course there's still teleport and better armor, with Possessed, which is why even offline I still prefer Possessed.

Both of their main mix ups are hit or throw, vs high level players. Both have overrated zoning. Balanced does more damage, Possessed has better armor and a teleport. Balanced has a better push.

Edit: I do think Balanced is very good for the record.
100% agree, especially about Balanced. I've been using it since MKX's launch and the variation appears to be really good since the last patch.
