Same with Tanya, especially after her March Nerf when everyone thought she was deleted from the game. Idk why I haven't played you BTW, I would love some LF V Tanya action

Balanced does a lot more meterless damage and gains a better push.

Offline the mix up with Possessed becomes hit or throw, rather than overhead or low demon. Low demon is pretty easy to react too.

Of course there's still teleport and better armor, with Possessed, which is why even offline I still prefer Possessed.

Both of their main mix ups are hit or throw, vs high level players. Both have overrated zoning. Balanced does more damage, Possessed has better armor and a teleport. Balanced has a better push.

Edit: I do think Balanced is very good for the record.

I have no idea how good balanced is. He doesn't seem bottom 5 when I'm against him though.

I always just figured I was playing the match-up wrong.

She doesn't. There isn't anyway shape or form Cassie is not top 10. She's easily there. I respect revet and his opinions,but you're not convincing me that Cassie ,at least in Hollywood is not top 10

Just to clear it up, for those that might be confused. There are just 4 ways in which Balanced can be seen as a good character:

1- Not knowing a shit about this game.

2- Not knowing what "neutral duck" means.

3- Having mental problems.

4- Being a troll.


None of the options deserves an answer.

There's no doubt in my mind that DF Liu is top 5. Character has no weaknesses at all and very very few bad MUs if he even has any.

I'm surprised Sorcerer isn't being spoken about more too. I've picked him up after the last patch and I actually think he's busted AF in this meta with armor being toned down. The armor portal is one of if not the strongest move in the entire game.

That move made some kind of sense prepatch. In this meta it simply shouldn't exist.

His jumb back 1 is great though, I don't know if it makes him good, but he is at least average...

He is bustaed, but so are so many others that it makes it hard to choose honestly.

His worst matchup(Sub) became even in the patch lol since now he gets a safe wake up that Sub can't armor break.

What's crazy about Liu Kang is that he has good rushdown and good zoning. If he can't beat you through offense he can likely do well zoning you, if your character would beat him in a zoning battle he can rush you.

3. Jason
4. Ermac
5. Liu Kang
6. Sub Zero
7. Jacqui
8. Tanya
9. Kano
10. Quan Chi

EDIT: This is top 10 CHARACTERS, not just a single variation.

but you know what? I agree. that ji after teleport buff is stupid (just like it is for Kitana and Kenshi), let's just remove it, make s3 a low and call it a day.

EDIT: I don't really agree that he is top 1, I agree that he is broken. In my opinion there isn't even an argument for anyone being top 1 until Jason gets a nerf, besides Jason of course.

The absolute best characters in the game all play MKX but, more importantly, stop others from playing MKX. In my opinion, those 10 characters have the tools to do that with ease.
