and another thing, if the kollection comes out on 11/16 and there are STILL no screenshots by that time, i would cancel the order if i were anyone who pre-ordered it, cant buy a game with no screenshots, and im starting to believe its all garbage anyway, if the game was that special, we would have screenshots by weeks end.

The countdown had nothing to do with the HD kollection. I found that out late afternoon yesterday.

The Kollection is real, its coming, but when, i have no clue. their marketing for this project makes no sense, not only to you and me, but its the same to some in the MK circle.

lol for a split second I was like whoa, realistic gfx.... the bug crawled past the edge of the screen onto the bezel and then I knew it was no Kano.. definitely creeped the shit out of me and much more exciting then the anticlimactic countdown 'surprise' which I stayed up till 3 am for....

There's still a month to go till the supposed Nov release date. As weak as the presentation of the current MK2 on ps3 is, it's still a very replayable game, and don't really have the need for HD. Yes, the menus suck, the leaderboard is trash, and the options are so limited, but there's just something perfect about all that.

On the other hand, I would like confirmation of the damn HD thing already if it actually exists so I can set aside some money for it. I can see how this silent treatment from WB is causing a lot of anxiety and resentment from the kommunity. They need to give the fans some sort of official word on this project soon and quit jerking the fans around.

there simply is NO such game that comes out in almost less then a month with no screenshots or trailers or official statements, you guys can forget 11/16 if they do not have a trailer or preview at least by weeks end (10/17).

when in game launch history has a game come out in 1 month time with no preview or screenshot? none, 11/16 is not happening. i dont care what pre-orders state or any gamestop states, no trailer or official statement, no game on 11/16.

they know it too, soon without no trailer or official statement, you will then see that the 11/16 release date is getting pushed back to March, i gurantee this if no trailer happens by weeks end, how could it come out on 11/16? thats not how warner bros. wants to market the thing. they want to sell it right? then if it really comes out on 11/16 why arent they marketing it? ......because 11/16 isnt happening. I don't think it is going to come out on the 16th/17th either at this point, but I do think that it is in the works because it would be too ridiculous for that many retailers to list a game on pure Internet speculation. Even knowing it is beneficial to them to offer a game early and costs them nothing if they are wrong it would be a hell of a coincidence.

Even if it isn't coming out soon I'll be happy knowing that it is coming out at some point even if it is a year from now. Maybe the official confirmation is on 16th/17th and that is when these companies are offering pre-purchases.

i also agree its in the works, but this is the new way to market games, pre-release dates then release dates pushed back.

watch, soon Tim will get a notification that his pre-order has gotten pushed back until March. I truley believe March is when Kollection comes out.

At this moment, especially after what happened last night, I feel extremely happy and fortunate to have Mame,MK,MK2,UMK3, Arcade stick, the rest of the old school players and Seasons beatings just around the corner...Whatever the case is with this game...the promotion is very poor and unprofessional....I've been taking Marketing class for the last month and a half and I cannot explain such a behavior from WB.

and btw, GAME's website took down the pre-order of MKK HD along with gamestop nearly simulteanously and back THEN the release date was November 18 for us euros. How's that kiddo pre-ordering the same title pulled weeks ago today and claiming a Nov 1 release for europe ?

IMO the game should come out before the end of 2010...If it comes after that, then there is a chance that its gonna gain popularity and screw MK9 sales.(we all know that whatever cover has MK logo on it, it sells well) That's my personal assumption. The bottom line is- if it doesn't come out before December...well,Aprils fool in advance.
