I haven't seen anything posted here, but why aren't people using this as Johnny's bnb?

F2,4, D1, RC~12, RC~12, F3~DB3. That's 27%, and honestly not that hard to do offline. It took me like 10 minutes to start doing it pretty consistently. To make it 10 times easier, drop the 2 on the last 12, F3~DB3 and it becomes a 25% combo. Way better than those 21%, and 24% combos I keep seeing off of F2,4.

I didnt have time to test this fully this morning before I left for work, but I assume the run cancels in other combos with meter and clones will net you even more damage.

Also not sure if this works with A-List since the nut punch is a little different.

Pretty sure you can get a max of 2 pimp smacks (damn you stamina bar) with F2 before going into the follow up combo with F24. Damage won't increase by much but it will look awesome.
Could I ask for EXACT inputs please sir? As in no abbreviations but exactly what I need to be pushing, would be much appreciated.

For A-list right? That makes sense for you guys. It's the SD and Fisty boys that I think would benefit from it. I'm fairly sure you cant even do these combos with A-List...that nut punch is different.

Okay, I'm feeling pretty hyped right now. I decided to grind out various cancels again to check if we really can get a higher advantage on block with run cancels and I checked out Johnny's best low options to start things off.

Off our best poke, D4 > BF4 > Run > F3 is able to beat out 6 frame pokes and even catches reversal back dashing (of course video is provided as usual). Note: I'll find the exact numbers later on as this can lead into some good mix ups.


However the above is not what has me exited while typing this. I went and broke my finger performing the following inputs 113 > BF4 > Run > F3 and by god I should have done this sooner. 113SKRC is plus 5 on block and allows Johnny a shot at continuing pressure after blocking his best low starter. This is freaking huge and enough of a reason for people using A List to grind out run cancels. I'll leave you all with the video below, enjoy the grind, it's worth it.

Agh! Now I need to practice even m.... Oh, fisticuffs is just b12 trolling. Legitimately forgot it has no specific tech for a second. Aight, A-List grinding time. Sure is nice having 3 worthy variations.

Also this looks insane. The continuous pressure after nutpunch with this is going to be absolutely monstrous for anyone who can get 2 cancels out. F3 into nutpunch, delayed ex is still good regardless as well as ex forceball.

I'm just thinking about all the applications. Since people ussually get used to armoring after 11, this'll condition them not too since it's safe and leads into more pressure, and it'll again leave then vunerable to 1's into f24's and what not and just creates even more mind game opportunities. Really hope we see some strong Johnny's at EVO.

I definitely need to invest some time into using A-List seriously.

Well i just found out that the delayed hit on the nutpunch (at maximum length) wiffs duckblocking subzero even though it hits mid. Very annoying...

I haven't read the whole general discussion in full so this might have been talked about, but after post on hit nutpuch or off of a jump in I was looking at a lot of his strings and found quite a bit of good options and staggers aside from 1,1 and what not.

I understand 1,1 can be used to chain into the low, but for sustainable pressure if that's what people are going for that doesn't require stamina, mixing in 1,2 which is listed as plus on block, back 2, which is mid and listed as plus on block and 2,1,4 which can work identically to how 1,1,4 works except for the fact that it's not duckable mid combo and leaves you right next to the opponent on block and is also neutral too with similar chip I believe. The more variance, the more likely the pressure will be sustainable and throws will connect too as well as other mix ups working as opposed to a more linear approach.

Then there's 1,2,1 for spacing and to mix people up on when you're going to go for throws or low pokes and on hit you can go into stunt double call. There's just no reason not to vary your pressure since all these options don't require stamina, are safe and in some cases plus and leave you right next to the opponent to keep the pressure going on them.

Just spit balling at the moment and testing things, but I love this character, Cage hasn't been this fun in a long while so I've been playing him a lot, but only Stunt Double, not really interested in the others, even though Fisticuffs looks really good.

@Wrath0594 Good to know your motivated on trying A List as it is a damn good time applying these cancels in a match. I also need to start getting into SD for that chip damage.

Anyone know the exact changes fisticuffs got in the patch? Er, just b121 I guess. Cuz I'm surprised at how horrible it is on PC compared to what I saw there.
What patch? I didn't see anything for Johnny in the hot fix and I didn't hear about nay new patches.

Any cage players wanna add me on ps4 and help me level up? Day 1 fisticuffs user, I know A-List and SD are preferred amongst you guys but I wanna stick with the variation.

Fisticuffs does have ONE advantage over A-list that is making me stick with it... faster nut punch does lead to more consistent hits in combos, specifically leaving them in 11(3) range. That being said, you guys are making it hard for me to not swap it out for A-list.

Any A list users mess around with standing 4 SKRC or 21 SKRC. And is there any there any practical use for the flip kick?? I feel like im really not utilizing everthing johnny has but cant find any practical use.
