Oh, I totally forgot that it got patched on PS4, not sure about other platforms. 75 was at the stage 2 if I remember correctly.

Edit: Yeah, stage 2

I don't get the game for another week so I have a few questions about him.

Does ground pound still hit low?

Does he still have energy wave?

Did he get his ground pound cancel back?

Does he have any new command grabs?

Ground pound does hit low, the enhanced version is two lows.

You can't cancel it.

He does not have energy wave, but he does have two projectiles he can use. One is his "thumper" which shoots a grenade in a slow arc. The other is his heat missile which is a fast high projectile he csn fire when his arms are heated up.

He has one new command grab that is like his mkx command grab. It's called quad grab.

Thanks man. :)

So, is hunker the way to go? Everyone is into his quad grab, but his anti projectile and duck stance are good too, I don't know on which variation i should put my focus

Guys what do you do after full b2 in midscreen? What to do when u juggle opponent?
I do either dash, 1, F2, 1+3.
Or dash 1 dash 12 into either-
Gotcha
Quad slam KB
His heat shot KB.

You can do bigger combos but i find these easy.

Honestly feels to me like you can go with either or. I think Jax is one of the few (if not only) characters that use both variations with success. Killtron/SchiacchiSempre uses Grinnin Barret to solid success, and Creakyaxe/GunShow uses hunker down in a similar fashion. Really gotta go with your playstyle on which you prefer imo.

What are the playstyle differences between these variations, exactly? They seem to have very similar game plans.

I think grinnin barret is much more focus on using duck and weave (bf2) and ripped (db4) to punish and/or special cancel to extend combos for damage.

Hunker down is more focused on using the krushing blows you gain access to with quad grab and expert grappler correctly.

Hunker down feels more like a grappler (even though mk11 doesn't have true grappling like other fgs, for mechanical reasons) because of the goal of grabs, the air grab ability, and the aesthetic. Grinning barret feels a bit more streamlined and mechanically focused to me.

Just my two cents.

It would be great if 2,2 would not miss on crouching females.
I love duck but certain combos also miss on females like d2 ch, 4 xx duck amp, dash, d1,2
The amp duck misses on cassie etc
Idk if it is intentional but why even pick males then?

At full heat, is it possible to get 2 separate KB's from f33, 1+3 and then afterward f2, 1+3? Or is that KB locked to one use of the 1+3 throw extension?
