The NA was catching on at that time, with a lil bit more work I think I could've have reached the point were I had enough players attending to guarantee a weekly event... but then came all of this bullcrap

yeah, a lot of us enjoyed doing it and I remember I was able to get a bunch of people signed up for a full tourney. good times; hope we are able to do it with better netcode and an improved version of MK. A lot of PC folks abandoned the game 'cuz its not on par with consoles right now. I hope that changes.

Decision have been made probably months ago. Pool is just for hype / laughs, just like it was when people voted (petition) for Tremor to be included and they later stated that decision to include him in KP was made months ago and petition had no impact on that, obviously.

Boon is just using this to get more attention / fun, decision has been already made, months ago.

it's now or never .... hope that NRS just end to have some dignity left and make the MKXL (with KP2 included) happens and so, PC players finally can have access to the improved version of MKX with the new characters .... I believe only if the real thing appear as official news , let's see .... :oops:

Now that he put this poll should that lose out to the people voting for buffs, guess what you have only the community to blame because if those PC left NRS all together hey that's their problem. This is why I support NRS because they actually ask the fans what we want, we complained about balanced fighter, we got one, tourney scene we got one, DLC we got it with some free stuff mind you, fixed net code we got it.

Everytime there's a NRS stream on twitch it's flooded with PC people so annoying. Also the upgrades have been free for the console versions so all this talk about "charging for updates" I don't get, if I'm a PC guy and they wind up porting MKXL to the PC be happy with that.

People need to get over the PC shit already seriously....I'm waiting for the Injustice 2 no PC bitching to start.

Ok but have you ever considered writing to WB and not Ed Boon?....he doesn't make the decisions for which consoles the game is on, just like NRS wasn't even the same team that made the other PC ports it was High Voltage....

NRS makes the console ports. Obviously WB told them to drop the PC and at least as of now no PC Injustice 2 version. At this point, if someone wants the game THAT badly just buy a console and MKXL. I mean most of my friends who are "PC Master race" fanatics spend thousands building their PC so...few hundred bucks shouldn't be an issue. Just saying, especially if we don't get KP3 the PC people will have dropped MKX anyway. Ed has always had fun with the fans for ages now, but hey he asked in that other poll that BB was in and he won, BB is in injustice 2 but swamp thing came in second so he'll probably wind up being DLC or something.

By selling Injustice 2 on PC or, if they actually release it, the KP3.

Now I know that they probably plan to make us pay for it, but that doesn't really change my point.

To get back on topic, it would be very cool if PC got the ggpo netcode and balance updates for free... but somehow I think WB will look at this as a new opportunity to get more cash and just package them with paid content.
We'll see if we even get anything like I said before I'm not holding my breath.

Regarding why people vent their anger towards Ed Boon a lot of the time, well the answer is pretty easy, Ed Boon is the face of NRS and when stuff happens that makes so many people upset then naturally those people are going to be pointing fingers at Boon.

Sure in reality, Ed Boon's only mistake that he ever did regarding this stupid situation is the AJ interview. Ok let's talk about NRS and WB and the common misconception that these two entities are distinct, prompting people like you to try and shift the blame to WB. When Midway went under, NRS was formed and subsequently BOUGHT by WB, what this simply means is that NRS is an internal development studio of WB similar to DICE and EA.
What I'm trying to say here is that if you blame WB for the PC mess then it's only fair that you blame NRS as well considering that they are a subsidiary not some 3rd party contracted studio.

You said that a "few hundred bucks shouldn't be an issue" for people that spend thousands of dollars on their PC if they want to play MKXL and that would be true if EVERYONE invested that much money in their PCs. You have no clue about the PC market and how high end PC's are NOT predominant among gamers.
If you want to see for yourself how many people own enthusiast or high end gaming rigs vs how many have entry level parts the check out Steam's list of hardware used among it's clients.
Also keep in mind that a lot of people will not simply buy a console just to play one game that they like.

Writing to WB has been done before and it has had no success because you are dealing with customer support, people working those jobs more often then not do not have the ability to help you convey to WB that you want MKXL on PC. We got generic answers back to our requests and that was the least bit surprising.

You said that you support NRS because they gave you everything you wanted, perhaps that is true on your end, maybe you were satisfied with MKX NOT having GGPO day 1 like it should, or that the XBONE version had players waiting for 30 minutes to get a game or that the servers wouldn't let you log in with your WB id.
Please stop generalizing and sugar coating and try to be objective even though your inner fanboy says otherwise, you need to look at things through other players perspective as well as your own to get a solid grasp of the facts.

Oh I assure you I feel the same way about the PC elitists for months now but as you said, things seemed to have calmed down, still a lot of my personal gripes with those people are having to hear PC people brag for YEARS well now they get their due lol...what can I say? Yes I'm aware of that but even Ed Boon doesn't call ALL the shots regarding business management and corporate moves, that would be WB. NRS works hard for these games, and unlike other companies who give us half assed, unfinished games they try their best to please everyone. Now, am I saying nobody has a right to be upset? No, but am I saying it's wrong to attack just Ed for it? Yes.

I would have to disagree blaming NRS in this case, netcode, glitches etc I agree but not this PC shit, that was on WB the whole time....during live streams NRS going out of their way to show us stuff before release(which mind you they don't have to do) having to deal with the trolls spamming "WHY NO PC YOU SUCK GUYS, NO BUY NRS WAHH" constantly is beyond immature and inaccurate. NRS makes the game, they don't call the shots with "ok we make the game we decide which system it's on too" that is WB's call. I'm a huge nintendo supporter, what about the wii u fans who got jipped? you see Nin fans having a shit fit? Before you say "well nobody cares about wii u it failed etc" irrelevant to my point, point is even the nin fans who did get mad, doesn't nearly compare to the amount of butthurt PC fans. And I know "but they spent the 60 bucks" ok, did someone FORCE them to do so? Is it a secret that by now between Batman, Injustice, MK 9 and hell even SF from Capcom that fighting games don't have a shitty rep on PC in general and WB games? It's like this, you buy a car from a company it sucks, shuts down, breaks down. You buy another one few years later same thing happens from same company, do it again...who's to blame here exactly by this point? The consumer or the company making the cars? lol you can argue well the company should have fixed the car by now, ok fair enough but the consumer should also be smart enough to realize this and thus NOT buy it at all....or buy it for another console in this case, if they want the game THAT bad that they must have it.


Actually I do, I have several friends who are PC nutjobs one even with a shitty ass job who saved months to spend thousands rebuilding his PC, you're telling me these PC elitists who travel for tourneys, spend god knows how much on new PC's, parts etc can't dish out a few hundred bucks? lol come on now...who said anything about just one game? I was just referring to if they want the play the game that badly enough, get a console there's tons of other great games on every console but I guess a PC elitist probably wouldn't care and feel the console version is inferior....


Ok, well WB and NRS directly DOES have a twitter you know, if emails, phone calls etc are getting you nowhre why not tweet the hell out of their wall? I think they'd some how get the message lol or perhaps some questions couldn't be answered then in there, maybe they figured ok we have to work on this PC issue but can't tell anyone anything for sure now....I doubt Ed would make a poll with that as an option unless WB wasn't already considering fixing the PC MKXL problem.


Well, past few years I've been struggling financially and STILL I managed to save get an Xbox One in 2015 christmas time just to play MK X and few other games coming out, some asked why not PC....well few reasons as I've mentioned one WB doesn't exactly have a great PC track record lately so why would I do that? Two, most fighters suck or aren't as good on PC as consoles not just NRS games but look at Capcom's SF5....had numerous issues on PC....I was on Xbox one day one for weeks, the waiting for 30 mins never happened to me, I've had freezing issues rarely and of course the netcode but that's all fixed now, been fixed. I also never had an issue with the WB id thing from what I gather different people had different problems, for me it was the freezing on shinnok fight from time to time, never had the waiting half hour issue or the WB id issue thankfully but I know others did. It's not my inner fanboy it's just facts, I can say the same about you being a PC elitist fanboy....so really want to pull the fanboy card? I look at the facts and it's obvious at this point if someone buys WB game for PC NOW after past few years of bad track record that is your fault alone for trusting them, that's why I stick to console because they're reliable with consoles, PC ehh not so much so hey too bad. Ever hear the phrase "Fool me once, shame you, fool me twice shame on me" well live and learn kid. Not generalizing, just calling it how I see it man.

Except for the fact that this isn't equivalent to mugging, my dad's been mugged, my friends have been mugged. Mugging is someone forcing you to steal your shit by threats, this wasn't mugging, this was people willing dumb enough to buy a game for a system that is known to be shady from WB the past few years, then whine when they get screwed over....like I said earlier, when PC version came out did someone hold a gun and force the PC Master race players to buy MKX? No.

All that being said, I suggest we agree to disagree because there's always two sides to every story and for MONTHS us console players have had to endure this shit after years of PC people talking down to us console people. I'm merely posting what many console people are thinking. You won your little poll, so chances are you'll get your MKXL for PC...IF that's the case, be happy. Better late then never lol.[/user]
