It's too soon to get cocky.
I'd like to say that KP3 is coming. There's another Friday the 13th movie just announced, so I could see Michael Myers being part of the pack to help boost sales.

I've always believed that the whole debate of NRS not having released KP2 and new netcode was due to them ditching high voltage and searching for a new developer to port things over. NRS never officially announced that PC support has been dropped, and could be why they never directly answered the constant question of what's been going on with PC updates. They did the same thing for the new netcode, so if this does happen I'll be happy since PC is where I started but am now with the console family.

Here's hoping for the best.

I remember the same thing happening back when SF4 came out. First PC had a huge wait for Vanilla. Then when SUPER was coming to consoles all Capcom said was it wasn't coming to PC, hold that sh1t. Then AE happened which I basically feel XL is, the purposely busted unbalanced version of the game. Then finally PC got AE, AE2012, AE2014, ULTRA. So here's hoping we get XL+KP3 then eventually MKX:KE but I won't hold my breath.

If it does come to PC, DO NOT buy it day one, or even week one! Hell, I'll wait a few months before buying another NRS game to see if they fucked the port or not.

If it does come to PC, it won't be day and date.

Hopefully they wait until Ultimate Injustice Turbo so we can make sure they will get all the DLC.

As I said in the other thread, Ed Boon, NRS, and anyone affiliated with them can go fuck themselves. They fucked us over and frankly, the PC market doesn't need them. We've got Ki, Street Fighter, and Tekken. I'm not spending a fucking dime on an NRS product on PC ever again unless it's the fucking ultimate, game of the year, all DLC included, version that's been proven to run great for over a year.

No, I haven't. I see someone saying that Boon said something.

Even then, who was that company's face who said we were going to get a port on par with console version? It was even truth, technically.

We've got more than that. I'm willing to bet we'll get Xrd-REV- eventually (although Xrd itself is already decent... and it's not like GG folks aren't ones who just love sticking to old versions), released DOA version only lacks some cosmetic stuff, then there are things like SG and UNIEL if you're into this kind of thing.

GOTY of NRS game? You mean, buying the game when it's literally about to be obsoleted by the next portion of NRS stuff?

I PROMISE you that when asked about Injustice 2, the only positive comment I made was "well, at least they won't port it on PC", and unlike Boon I tend not to lie.

I may be wishing for a bit much, but I feel maybe all 3 of those are gonna happen, along with KP3. I'd love to see MK live a long time on PC as well, since gaming lives a long time in that sense (think emulators). Here's hoping the big news is everything in that poll and more.

If you really think about it, this poll is very similar to the last one Ed ran. When he asked which should be next; KP3, MK11 or some other option that I can't remember, injustice 2 was missing from the list and that turned out to be their next announcement.

I see the same thing happening with this poll since KP3 is missing, but hopefully it'll be 4 things happening at once; KP3, ESL S4, MKXL for PC and a balance patch.

What's bullshit is even if it released, it will sell like hot garbage since a) a fuck ton of people were put off by the initial state of the game and b) a fuck ton of the people that stayed with it until it was playable got burned on MKXL. Then they'll use the fact that it sold like hot garbage, to continue with the shit treatment of the PC crowd from NRS.

We've been set up for failure from the jump.
