Dr Doggystyle's HUGE MK Kollection!

Dr Doggystyle

The #1 MK Kollector from the Netherlands
Hello TYM Members,

i want to share my huge MK Kollection with all of you MK fans.

First a short introduction of myself :
My name is Bryan and i live in The Netherlands (a small country in Europe near UK, Germany and Belgium)
My MK experience began in the early years when the first arcade cab came out.
I played it a lot in the Arcade halls.
It was a great game to play every version was better and improved and more players.
I started my collection in 2006 and since then i have collected a lot of figures and other MK merchandise.
Most of them are from the US or UK, because here in The Netherlands there isn't a lot of MK merchandise.

Update march 16 2013 :
My website is up and running !
www.drdmkm.eu

And my Facebook page for my collection:

thank you for your reply's

@Storms
The Goro statue is very nice, i've seen it sometimes on ebay. I hope that i have one in the future.
The infinite concept figures are the series one (liu kang, mileena, sonya, sub-zero, scorpion & shang tsung) that you have ?
the one's that i find on ebay are very expensive.... i only have 3 loose figures of this set
i saw some pictures of the infinite concept series 2 figures with jax, kitana and others. Do you have them also ?
those are hard to find

im looking forward to see some pics of your collection

MKF aint got shit on you, Doggy!

Very insane, wow. And i love your sig btw. Out of all your collections your reptile figure is by far my fav. Excellent stuff man!

Dr Doggystyle

Yes i like the Reptile figure also and the custom made Ermac figure.
In my MK1 Arcade cab i now have MK2 The challenger edition version and my son of 7 plays very well with Reptile.

I never was a big fan like you, but I've always loved MK. I didn't even become competitive in MK until UMK3 came to XBLA.

Those action figures are awesome. I would love to have that Ermac one, it reminds me of the Red Power Ranger action figure I had when I was like 5.

Oh and yeah, you definitely take the cake for #1 MK fan. At least as far as possessions go.

I have the entire set (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, Mileena w/ Sais and mask, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. There are actually two different versions of Shang - one with a greenish belt and one with a goldish belt. I also have doubles of Scorp and Sub for customizing - Noob, Rain and soon to be Ermac and either Reptile or Smoke.

The Jax, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Reptile, Goro and Raiden were the second series but was never officially released... or at least VERY limited. I've seen Kitana on ebay loose once, but she was going for nearly $100 if not over that.

You can view that entire series, excluding Goro here: http://www.toymania.com/toyfair2000/infinite/infinite2000.shtml

@Tim Static
who or what is mkf ?

@ScheissNussen
thank you, i think that i have almost all of the comic books, except the baraka edition and some limited editions.
The rockem sockem Goro vs Raiden was my first heavy thing that i bougth from the US. That's very cool to have.
Yes i don't have everything on picture (too much :) ) but if someone needs to see a picture let me know then i will make it.

@ OJuggernautO
Thank you for calling me #1 MK fan :),
I bought the Ermac figure just like that from someone in the UK, it was custom made with a Scorpion base and arms of Kung Lao.
The kung Lao pictured has different arms (of scorpion) than the normal one.

@Storms
thanks for the link, that was the one i saw.
I didn't know that there were 2 different shang tsungs.
i hope to complete the series 1 set when i find them for a fair price.
I think that the best option for a Kitana and Reptile infinite concept figure is to custom made them of Sub-zero & Mileena.

@everyone
thank you for all the reply's
it's a pleasure to share my mk collection will all of you fans

Dr Doggystyle

The #1 MK Kollector from the Netherlands
thank you wazz
i bought an MK1 arcade cab and the seller told me that some buttons did not work.
When we were at the sellers house he gave a demo to let us see that everything with the monitor was good and the buttons didn't work.
i was impressed by the cab and its condition so i bought it.
at home i checked the buttons and put some contactspray on it and they worked like new !
then the light behind the marquee wasn't working because due the transportation the tl bulb was loose.
i fixed that and there was light :)
my goal is to make an 4 in 1 mk arcade cab with all the 4 mk games in one cab.
since feb 2010 i now have a mk2 board version challenger edition inside the cab. i removed the mk1 board.
MK2 is awesome to play.
in the future i will have the other boards and a remote control switch with 6 pcb slots so that i can switch to every game.

Yeah, I've customed a Noob so far with Scorpion and Rain with Sub.

@Krayzie Bone
thank you, always nice to hear that.

@STORMS
thank you
i have many mortal kombat search strings on ebay US & ebay UK. So i see them real quick.
And during the day at work i have much time to ebay :)
The Deadly Alliance tshirts arrived yesterday en they are like new.
I saw those on ebay UK and mailed the guy if he had a buy it now price.
he told me to make him an offer and i did and now i bought it.

there is also another loose MK1 tv game plug and play controller which i also bought with a cheap offer from the UK.
when that one arrive i will play with it and then the doctor's gonna operate the controller :) to make a mini arcade machine :)

edit :
i also have a UMK3 board for the cab,
only the battery is missing, i will have to find out what battery it needs, or if the one from the MK1 board will work.
i bought this cheap in the netherlands and its untested...
the seller sold it as MK2 but when i asked if he was sure he made some pics and he told me it was MK3
when i saw the pictures i saw Ultimate MK3 on the chips...
there is no soundboard, but i think the one of MK2 will work fine
i really hope that it works....

so then i have to buy a 6-in-1 remote control pcb to switch to all boards...
