Not sure yet about the gameplan or how you're really supposed to utilize the character effectively at a high level, especially the Energy Bounce.
The mixups, mobility, strong spacing vs characters w/o projectiles, having a projectile that CAN'T be parried or reflected and having multiple Counter Krushing Blows with the ability to combo almost 3/4s the screen away is strong to me. The drone bounce cancels mixed with air dash cancels and her shadow kick cancels mix with her flying glowkick (which is -8 with pushback) makes her super annoying up close, especially since she has decent normal staggers and multiple ways to cancel strings. I love this Variation because of how creative and YOLO you have to be in order to be effective. Don't get me wrong, all the other variations are strong, but this one is definitely on the same level as digital soldier and Yaas Queen. It just harbors different strengths. I've been using it the past 2 weeks when I've had a chance at playing and I'm not disappointed in the slightest.
And to add that since Cassie has a strong spacing game, the ball bounce is super effective on defense, especially when canceled after a counter hit.

Yeah I remember our last conversation and I added you. Every time I've been on, i haven't seen you on. That's my fault though because I can only really play Friday or the weekend nights sometimes lol. I would say we can just play a long set. I haven't tried sups OD on a Jade yet so I'm probably going to be using that. I'm down to see where I'm messing up and maybe I could show you a few things as well.
@Vengeance135 What did you want me to lab again in Sups OD? I've been looking for knockdown situations & haven't found only except one which costs meter. This was the combo I found from the knockdown outside of her converting off the bounces.

There is no need to be upset about someone's opinion. Jade just isn't top ten in the grand scheme of the game especially not Emerald Defender, which I assume is the variation you are having problems with overall. Of course what I just said is my assessment and my assessment alone. I just know I play Baraka and Nightwolf as well, two very strong characters that are actually either in the running or just outside of that. I don't see why you'd use Sups OD for Jade. As far as I know, I don't see what it would have over Yas Queen or Digital soldier.
I haven't forgotten lmao and don't sleep on Sups OD lol that's the biggest problem this community has imo. Most people try something out once or twice and is like... its booty. I'm probably going to use all variations vs you

I'm going to a game today. Tbh, I'm still not convinced that Sups OD is a variation I would use against Jade or anyone. I've been labbing it, but people can roll out of a lot of the setups I've found. Even then, the other 2 variations in terms of neutral & then unbreakable damage are better. Play @Espio & he can help you out with the match. He knows his stuff.
