For match up knowledge you can lab universal Cassie. What’s her “best” variant or is she one of the ones where it doesn’t matter? I’m about to go over this character today.

Digital Soldier better neutral presence/zoning/counter zoning from low shot and air guns and better restand options from jugglesSo is DS more zoning vs the other being restand? Or are both kinda the same-ish in that concept?
What is the extra decent krushing blow she has? I did not realize it. Might bring my mood back to her (not really lol).Digital Soldier better neutral presence/zoning/counter zoning from low shot and air guns and better restand options from juggles
Yaas Queen get better unbreakable damage and fast advancing mid special w decent krushing blow
DS has everything, zoning/anti-zoning, restand combos, better damage mid screen than YQ, but less damage in the corner. So is DS more zoning vs the other being restand? Or are both kinda the same-ish in that concept?
Foxy Grandpa and Dr GrossDoes anyone know any good Cassie players I should be watching to improve my game? Or really any matches in general
Here is how I see the move and the meta ties to it. Yes it is punishable but I still find it worth using. When it’s spaced properly it feels much safer, almost unpunishable by a lot of characters and maintains good space after they block. The move starts up in 12 frames, same as jacqui dash punch, so it will catch people. If they attempt to block too late you get 33%. It has better range than her normals so she is more threatening at jump range and it’s a mid so they can’t neutral crouch as much to stuff F21+3.What is the extra decent krushing blow she has? Ah I am fool I have read it. "Opponent must block late". I do not know what it is but I would never use this punishable move in neutral hoping for "late block".
How does it work in practice?
Ahh so the negative frames on the move depends on the spacing like in case of catwoman's cat dash? Here is how I see the move and the meta ties to it. Sonicfox's Cassie is not bad either - Sonicfox's anything is not bad either. Just you will not see too much tournament matches with it.Foxy Grandpa and Dr Gross

2 days ago I watched Sonicfox vs. Scar Cassie vs. Scorp it was a good set. That was when I saw that corner straight gun combo and realized its power.
RedRaptor plays Cassie too and I state him high level too (high enough to be worth watching it for learning and feeling the char).
I do not know how you guys play Cassie but I am sure I could learn from you too.
I prefer yaas queen now. You have unbreakable damage, better corner game, great 12 frame punish that can punish from a little more than half screen away. Good for punishing centron and sandtrap to bring you back into neutral. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to digital soldier but I do agree kneecappin is very useful in digital soldier, and some matchups I miss itWhat’s her “best” variant or is she one of the ones where it doesn’t matter? Cassie lucked out by getting 2 solid variations that both improve the different styles that she can be played as.I prefer yaas queen now. I don’t really understand how the game registers that either but all I know is it works, and it HURTS!!Ahh so the negative frames on the move depends on the spacing like in case of catwoman's cat dash?
That's different perspective now. I will check it in the lab with the frame data sheet - it shows pretty well the frames even after a projectile etc.
How can you explain late block? Does the game register that after hit the opponent pressed the R2? I did not get it.
Yea having that unbreakable damage is really nice.I prefer yaas queen now. Yeah she did. some people just have a useless veriationCassie lucked out by getting 2 solid variations that both improve the different styles that she can be played as.
I just labbed it from max range it is "only" -11 and pushback is out of typical jab range and throw range so it can be safe.I don’t really understand how the game registers that either but all I know is it works, and it HURTS!!

There’s a kollecter string that if you block both hits low it’s -9, if you block first hit low and second hit low it’s -10. If you block both standing it’s -11 lol.Ahh so the negative frames on the move depends on the spacing like in case of catwoman's cat dash?

looks at other main Yeah...yeah they do. sighYeah she did. some people just have a useless veriation
Digital Soldier is my variation of choice because of that versatility, but as you said, Yaas Queen is good for facing opponents that don't seem to be able to do as well against a more aggressive playstyle (Geras for one seems to have an issue since his Sand Trap isn't as effective as it is against her Digital Soldier variation. Also why Johnny of all people seems to be one of his toughest matchups.)I just labbed it from max range it is "only" -11 and pushback is out of typical jab range and throw range so it can be safe.
And I realized that restand with shoulder charge is tricky as it is perfect B2 footsie range so opponent need respect the spacing... but yes it is rather back to strong neutral than pressure.
I prefer Digital Soldier now as a new Cassie player as it looks more versatile and balanced.
YS seems a specialist killer to me with solid straight forward game plan.
Currently it was less fun to me.
I am analyzing frame.data of projectile game it is nice to see.the different block/hit advantage based on the spacing.
I thought Johnny's second one was the worst, then I fell upon Kano's second variation. And it's completely useless.looks at other main Yeah...yeah they do. sigh
If your input window is long it holds the input longer so change it to short. Or join the yaas queen club.Does anyone having problem keep getting db3 from couching when trying to anti air with b3? It happen to me so much today that I think I wanted to kill myself
