K.no because no one plays cryo at all.
FTFY.still kinda dumb that variationless subzero is built entirely to be compensated for by clone.
Dylan TBH of your serious just message he be like ay best Mileena in AZ and Ima 3 but my dick a 7 what does that add up to?
Solid mid tier. Best strengths are new d1, 10f f1 and safe burst. Old d4 game still applies. New f1 is a godlike frame trap option. Tick throw should be minimised. Works great if you have bar, but risk reward is always out of your favour. Playstyle is too inconsistent. Rather play slow chip with single hit staggers and throws. Save mix for come backs when risk reward is worth it. Or for late in sets when you havent used it much and you have data on their block patterns. Yolo mix does work but is much more effective at lower levels.@Gilbagz So what's up with cryomancer?
what is the frame trap exactly? f1~throw?Solid mid tier. Best strengths are new d1, 10f f1 and safe burst. Old d4 game still applies. New f1 is a godlike frame trap option. Lack of meter use in main bnbs saves bar for breaker and reaction ex slide to close gaps and start momentum. also his wake up system is great between cmd grab and slide. Cant defend both at once unless they jump to avoid. Risk reward is out of your favour, but its a mix up on blocking the wake up if they knock you down.
Tl;dr character still decent if you play him slow paced. Can play yolo mix up style but its too inconsistent for tournament. Frame trap throw with buffed f1 is thr key to success now.
its not even a proper frame trap in regards to plus frames, but i try to set up f1 'frame trap' situations afterwhat is the frame trap exactly? f1~throw?
so the frame trap is off of a poke?its not even a proper frame trap in regards to plus frames, but i try to set up f1 'frame trap' situations after
- d4 or d1 on hit; mix up with throw and f1. You can just take the 50/50 but the risk reward isnt worth it till you're in the corner.
- s1 staggers (mix up with 1,1,1; 1,2,3; 1, normal throw)
- f4,2 (after you've made them respect burst, or cmd grab ticks [generally much more risky])
- f1,2 (if you realise they are always trying to fuzzy the cmd grab; opens up the stagger at high negative)
- d3 on block (will lose to straight counter pokes and people mashing jab after, but you'll beat people trying to use 11f mids and slower)
In general higher neg (i.e. -5 and up) staggers work once you get them to respect the ice burst. Yeah they can armour the burst, but generally you dont need to care about the damage off the armour anymore. If you want to avoid risk, you can play purely off poke confirms, mixing throw and f1 after pokes on hit.
Yes its the basic frame trap throw game that close to every character can play off a poke on hit.so the frame trap is off of a poke?
I really don't believe that this invalidates his (Rude's) argument. No one is ever going to option select all of the tick throws, and with his ability to spend a bar to extend damage, each throw is going to do substantial damage (though it is meter intensive). If this was the case grapplers would be useless since if I remember correctly you can OS with backdashes as well. Not to mention that if someone was even remotely consistent with this OS, Foxy would have never done so well with KL and Mileena throws since this applies for regular throws out of staggers (or jailing prepatch Tempest hat) as well.
