Much appreciated. 99% chance it is just something weird I'm doing. For the B23, after black magic MB I've tried activating trait then dashing to ender, and dashing first then trait. 41% every time. It used to always be a world of 44%.

Cooldown is only 5 seconds. Abuse it while you can.
And in those 5 seconds a smart player will run you to the ground when you no longer have it to keep him out.

When people get over the 12% chip and see that BA players actually feel safe with those orbs out blows up will happen. Orbs are complimentary for frametraps, if you're not using them within blockstrings to throw or second best, strings then you're using them wrong unless they're almost dead.

I'm surprised people still get opened up by day 1 frame traps. Like it's too tempting for them to try and mash buttons or do something when Black Adam is pressuring. It's not like BA can maintain pressure like Superman, Nightwing, WW and others can. Eventually if you keep blocking he'll put himself out of range with d1 xx lightning storm. He has to sooner or later.

b2 xx MB Lightning should not work on anyone, it's a gimmick. Everyone should either block it, know when it's jumpabale (because it is at certain ranges) or low crush it on reaction/anticipation. You can also trade with 6f moves but that's a losing trade for most chars.

For Orbs, some players just like to have them always active because they're a threat people have to respect. People will play more cautious if you have Orbs out. Since they don't want to lose 12% every 8 seconds, they won't be rushing in as much as they normally would.
trust me, id rather take the orb damage and come with a safe move or mixup rather than get the same exact chip via ex lightning or normal lightning, if someone catches you before they all hit its ggs trait and ggs situation when youve allowed them in due to a sense of safety due to the orbs

and when i was saying that shit about MB lightning nah, we wanna do it even if its a gimmick. I respect that youre seeing if your opps adapt but sticking to a gimmick is just inviting your own doom. i like how you keep it real

not even mentioning you get a free 14% on tech if you throw during trait lol.

i guarantee to everyone of you that has used naked trait that at some point youve thought " shit, hes not coming in and my traits almost out, i need to get close and make him get hit by them " and were punished for it

Go in training and set Black Adam to wake-up cage and stance block, knock him down and try to get the timing for jumping in on him after cage. If you time it right it will hit, if he blocks it you're doing it too late, if you're hit you're too early.

I'm not sure about best enders, probably HM or sweep.

I'm not sure about meter usage, maybe MB B3/F3 and MB Atlas Torpedo shenanigans.

As for the MU in general, I'm not sure, it seems really tough when I try Shazam against even mediocre BA's.

You can either do what Error said and learn how to time a jump in or sit half a character space back and wait for it to whif then go into 22 or maybe b2. Sweep is always a nice option for Shazam because then they are in the blender.

Not sure if this is useful, viable, practical or known, but I noticed that after a non MB bootstomp hits a grounded opponent, if you do an instant far bootstomp angled forward it crosses up.

Crossups are always useful in every way shape or form lol. However because you aren't at a huge advantage after a dive kick on hit (+2), you could be interrupted trying to attempt it. So it's kind of just depends on you're opponents reactions and/or tendencies. Like if you were to try and pull it off on a good Aquaman idk if that shit would fly lol.

With shazam, you can do universal delayed jump ins or strings against a baited lightning cage. Or you can be lazy and psycho crusher during the recovery. I think it's best to keep BA close on combo enders so at least you have a chance.....

Beware of just blocking lightning cage up close. He will use the old bait the reversal bait and wakeup grab or just backdash.

I'll test it more. I rarely play online, so I don't fight a variety. Thanks for looking into this. I just tried it vs zod in training room and out of like 10 repetitions it was 41, and once it was 44. I'm doing something weird. I'll record this once I find my cap card. I duplicated the 50% midscreen since but it was 47% 2/3 of the time, so I think your previous suggestion of 22trait 22b1 is the better option.

divekick on hit is only +2, if you wanna go for a divekick crossup setup its best if you do it off of B2 trait, on wakeup or with your opps back to the wall

Do you not know frame data? Cage is safe on block, you posted and read my guide which had 3 ways to blow up lightning cage yet still asked 4 times overall, go read the guide again.

Your other questions are about shazam, not black adam.

Pushblock didn't matter and if I jumped out I would simply get thrown back into the corner when I landed. If I got cornered I was fucked. Super frustrating.

This is where Black Adam plays his worst. He can either burn meter on pushblock or MB F/B3, or you can try to poke/j1 your way out. This can be a real pain in the ass because even though Adam's j1 is six frames there are characters that have jump normals that have faster startup, bigger hitboxes or more priority. If you stay grounded and try to poke out you are susceptible to armor and frame traps. It's really going to depend on what your opponent wants to do.

The only thing I can think to try next time is B2 xx trait and throw them back into the corner. I haven't been using trait frame traps properly. When someone is blocking high I should be doing B2 xx trait instead of B23 into down1 lightning hands.

Honestly a lot of times you should be assuming that people are going to block high and do it anyway, once you get trait out it's easy to confirm it with 22. If it hits you could do 22b1, and if not finish the string with 223. As for using it to get out of the corner, it's 15 frames of startup so there would be a lot of stuff that could beat it so just keep that in mind. :)

I was hitting people with alot of blocked B23s in casuals. However, since I play mainly online, I wasn't used to people blocking it so constantly. I believe it is feasible to land a B2 anywhere- due to the mileage you get off down1 xx lightning hands, down1, down1 xx lightning hands ect... I can always sneak in a B2 somewhere. Playing people better than yourself is great. Before I didn't need to B2 xx trait to win, but now I've gotta start using it out of necessity. lol

Another option for being cornered *sometimes* is d2. It's easy to catch them if the opponent tries to neutral jump to extend pressure after you've successfully blocked a string. If you catch them even on the ground they'll either get launched or if blocked you can stay safe. If they respect d2 too much (some people will expect follow up and block a second longer) you can start the b2 trait. This only works after successfully blocking though. If knocked down into the corner wakeup MB lightning cage is + enough on block that there is enough time to reposition.
