correction, EVEYRONE can punish divekick...

it follows the same rule as CSZs divekick except the punish window is very strict

Green Lantern
Aquaman
Doomsday
Catwoman ( if it hits over the shoulder)

Ares ( if it hits below chest)
Lex
Green arrow
Bane
Shazam ( D1 if chest and up, sweep if it hits the torso)

He can also body splash it for full combo on reaction to your jump. Doomsday might be Adams only bad MU in my eyes right now. And its a bitch to deal with this early.

no he cant, only if you actually let the jump float, if you instantly do a divekick he cant body splash, itl be a read.

Divekick being punishable on block is fine, you shouldnt just be able to throw them out to get in for free. EX Divekick being + on block is legit, you cant really ask for much more than that.

Reminds me kind of like smoke doing whiffed telepunches above their heads. It works once at most. After that expect to be punished so you might as well remove that option all together.

How are you testing this?

put lex as the dummy on always block, reversal ON, reversal with Corp Charge , which is 6 frames.

Surely if anything can punish it, that can!

In alot of matches, laming out a life lead with bolts and backing off seems the way to win. Divekicking over them when you get backed into a corner is good.

Space control is one thing, but divekicking and putting yourself at - is taking unnecessary risks to do something you didnt even have to do. Back up, throw bolts, and get that bar for EX divekick approaches.

It's not so much I don't use it. I just most of the time use ex. There really isn't any reason not to use it. If it's blocked you get pressure, if not you get 40%. That's what we in the business call a win/win.
