most of the cast can punish a less than halfscreen divekick with d1 special as he lands within a like 10f window
good news is it has to be done fast but you can do it on reaction but i dont know which d1s exactly
the idea came to me when i was testing out aquaman and thought he can also d1 special to punish all divekicks

1) I'm getting a bad habit of constantly going for crossup 2 to start my pressure. What are you guys using for footsies, because playing footsies w Adam feels awkward to me.
2) I've noticed in some matchups (namely Grundy so far) I've been using close lightning bomb as a rattlesnake tactic, and surprisingly it seems to tag anyone out of their attack animations as long as they don't have armor. Its saved me during Grundy's trait, Grundy's lunge grab (the armored one) after he has me, and Raven's ermac shenanigans. This is a pain to recreate but I'll try to get some video evidence tonight.
3) I know its too early to spout matchup numbers, but Hawkgirl concerns me.
She seems to hang out in Adam's dead zone (in the air, 1/2 to 3/4 screen away) and meeting her in the air w j.2 isn't cutting it.
Anyone have insight on how we should treat this match?
4) I watched Vulcan Hades video on bomb setups and stumbled into this: (p1 Gotham City - Rooftop, center)

Seems to be a 66% (34+32) reset if you can pin them on wakeup so the bomb tags them.
Would you guys call this a solid setup or is there some way I can improve on it? Or at least ensure the reset better?
That's the key word. This combo won't work post patch and none of the orb cancels give this much advantage anymore....on my unpatched game (no internet yet) but the damage % changes depending on how the orbs hit in time with the B23 because of scaling, its minute though.

Just tested and b1 xx orbs, j2 isn't a combo.
This is basically what i was testing, alot of strings that are neutral or + were giving me enough advantage for 11, 22 or in some cases B2 to be true blockstrings and completely unavoidable.If it can be any comfort, you still gave me some good ideas that I didn't think about. I mostly use orbs for hit confirming in matches.
But using Orbs to cancel recovery allows for a whole new world of frame traps and setups that I didn't really see before. For example: 2,2,b1 is -5 so a knowledgeable player will be tempted to counter poke after blocking this, but surprise you active orbs into 1,1 and get a counter hit into a full combo.
Same with strings that are around +2, the opponent could be tempted to reversal your frame trap, but if you activate orbs you can jump much earlier than you normally would be able to.

He can also body splash it for full combo on reaction to your jump. Doomsday might be Adams only bad MU in my eyes right now. And its a bitch to deal with this early.so doomsday can punish normal divekick no matter where it hits.
