Ds and raven will be his bad MUs for sure . They totally outzone him . Even harley gunshots can be a problem lol
His zoning and trait is too slow . Only pistol and ground laser are fast but you cant rly zone with lasers from fullscreen.
nah, just don't try to out zone'em. Zod has good dash and charge works good to punish at mid range + air charge is godlike because you can jump over projectiles and punish it then :)

Not sure if this is happening to anyone else and I have no way to make a video of it but sometimes during a combo with Zod his super just activates out of nowhere. It has happened to me now 4 times randomly and I know for a fact I'm not activating it so it might be a bug. Anyone else had this happen to them?

I don't know if this is known already, but if you do F21U2~Air Grab on block against high hit-box characters the air grab will cross up. The bad thing is most of them can punish it if they block correctly, so I would only use it if they aren't aware of it.

Also if they crouch block the Air Grab will whiff. Only a few characters can punish this from what I know so far.

I think my question was misunderstood I wasn't asking how to play the matchups but what possible options does Zod have against armor.Regardless I think I got my answer, thanks for the input.

Is it a bug that you can do his trait grab by just pressing down and 4 instead of db4 or df4 as it is said in the menu?

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone encountered his b12~Kryptonian Rifle MB just whiffs the last shot on certain characters? Its happened on Flash, Joker, and a few others.

Yes, it's char specific. Works on batman and superman consistently, but whiffs the last shot on bane flash catwoman etc. Fail.

I use 22 ~ Kriptonian Rifle Close MB , works consistently on everyone.

Well b12 is still good when playing against chars like batman, you can still keep it as an option.
For 22 KR MB make sure you do the close version (hold back) for all of them to hit.

As for parry, I've tried to use it but all my friends are d1 and batman j2 happy, it makes it hard to parry anything on reaction. I mostly use it in string gaps since it's 3 frames startup. I've also parried Aquaman's trident stabs once on wakeup, I think.

123 trait, Zod charge, trait, 213, trait. If blocked do 21close mb laser trait I'll explain later how this is is pretty ground breaking
I can see what you're doing there, it's disgusting and dirty and I love it. It's like a long ass block string with frame traps out the ass. Look forward to hearing more about it.

so heres the long txt tomorrow ill try n post a video..


so you end your combos with 123 trait and delay maybe one fourth of a second and then do zod charge... and here are the different scenarios...


1. they dont wake up and just block..
After they block the zod charge you hit trait and the opponent will not be able to interrupt.. you then get a free 213 with the last hit being overhead.. you then do a trait hit right after the over head hit.. if they dont block, the trait will hit them back and you can do b3 for 38% and if they block, you can still do another safe 50/50 with 213 or 21 close mb laser where you can do another trait.. of course you can b12 instead of 213 to even further throw off your opponent as well as doing the wraith grab after you do the slash for further shenannigans..

2. they try and jump back or back dash on wake up...
if you delay your charge right it will pick them up on the way down and if it doesnt connect, it doesnt matter since you can do a trait slash and pick up the combo with a 213 charge for 28%

3. They wake up... this is why you delay the charge for a little. the delay will allow you to hit out many wake ups but many times you will be hit out of the charge.. it doenst matter though since it is very risky to wakeup since you can punish pretty much any wakeup by baiting it and doing wraith grab

4. They get hit by the zod charge after the combo..
you get an extra 11% and then you get a true 50/50 mixup on their wakeup... you can do either trait and ex mb lazer or mb trait grab pending they dont have a long reaching wakeup.. which again is verryyy riskyto do anyways...

kinda drunk so if alot of this doenst make sense sorry.. but i think this is gamechanging for him

Obviously Zod charge has the benefit of catching backdashes and beating tons of moves out, but I was thinking you could mix bf3 in. I was just testing it out and if you use bf3, wraith slash will juggle after it lands, letting you start kickball loop for really good damage. It seems to reach pretty consistently after 123 xx trait. Only problem I think is that he doesn't get as close of a mix up as Zod charge would produce if they block.

if your talking about doing it after the 213 and if that works i think thatd be a great idea as well! only problem i see with that is that the wraith could possibly dissapear before you get the chance to do a second mixup but if not thatd be great

oh nvm i just got what you were saying but that gave me the idea for what i just said lol. yea thatd def be good but i feel if you get too close the opponent will always start waking up but ill mess with that as well

I was more worried about the opponent just back dashing. Zods actual body doesn't go forward that far during bf3 so I'm not sure what wake ups will connect before trait can slash. Bf2 is better in general just for spacing purposes, but bf3 nets you a full combo

What's everyone using meter on besides combo enders? Side arm? Rifle? Ground Laser? I dislike using meter for combo enders, but if they're like a string I didn't expect to land that ends in Force Palm, I'd burn for the damage there.

I use [MB] K-rifle just to cover the screen and scare my opponents a bit.
