I was just going off my experiences and my experiences show I've seen his win pose honestly once . This MU is hella bad. Kenshi straight up bullies him, builds hella meter in this MU just like the cage/kit/Sonya MU. Even if U touch me I have breaker.

I have no reason to approach u and when I do I use safe armor that's +7 for FTs. The last thing I'm worried about is a TKP to teleport mix up on knockdown

And IDc if people think I'm arrogant , I just travel all the f ing time and play w the best players consistently so I sort of feel like I do know wtf I'm talking about

Keep in mind saying its 7-3 is actually making the ermac players look better, 6-4 doesn't

I don't think you are arrogant, but you are somewhat questioning our experience and that's not nice. I've also been playing this game since day one and I regularly assist whatever MK gatherings we do.
If you don't approach me to at least get in SC range, then how are you going to keep me out? I already stated the properties of TKP over flurry, charge, and slash.

If it were offline, I'd say yeah in a heartbeat but I haven't played this game online in ages. I just can't play as Kenshi and deal with the bad netcode.

kenshi ermac 7 3 imo, i'm picking kenshi up and you might see him at SCR and i'm doing well with him, hit me up with a PM too bcuz i want to talk about a few things. Also about the scene situations in countries, U.S.A. is, and will be staying the best scene, this is no opinion, this is fact. EVO already proved that, also if you look at all our tournaments(MLGs, FR, NEC, SCR) and etc., you'll see how hard the competition can get here. I dnt know why ppl try and make it seem like there char doesn't have it bad vs kenshi, most do, some actually beat him, and others can manage, but most get wrecked by him and that's the truth. He's automatically top 5 for sure, and a great character, but he requires a lot of reactions and reads. I still dnt know why some ppl see you as "arrogant", heck i'd listen to you for sure since you top 8'd at EVERY tournament you went to in 2012. Your results with kenshi show that you know what your talking about, but more high lvl players need to get into kenshi, which is where me, and actually denzell too come along.

I'm not trying to get in the middle of things or start drama, but lets be completely honest here; Pig's Kenshi is the only Kenshi that matters at the moment. He's the only Kenshi player I see not only get top 8, but ALWAYS makes top 8. If he tells me Kenshi vs. Baraka is 10-0 I'd take his word for it lol.

The conversation you guys are having is great, and I am loving the input from you Ermacs. HOWEVER, I dont want to give my full opinion on this match up for two reasons:

1) All of my opinions about Ermac's match ups are different than the rest of the Ermac community's.
2) Im not trying to get in an argument with fellow Ermac players.

I will say this about the match up though...



I dont like it...not at all. And, having played this match up a decent amount with the world's top 2 Kenshi's Pig and Blackula (they are undoubtedly the Kenshi's of the world), I can confidently say that, at least for me, Kenshi has a higher damage output in this MU because of the massive chip damage Ermac takes while he is trying to get in. Not to mention Kenshi wins the meter building war BY FAR, leaving him with easier options of keeping you full screen. Once again, this is just my opinion. I could just be playing this match up wrong.

As far as who is the best Ermac, it remains to be seen. We need all of the very top Ermacs at one tourney and see who places the highest. Even then, there will always be doubts. I am very content w/settling with a list of top 3 Ermacs; I have no problem with that.

I'm not sure on what "upplaying" technically means, but what we are trying to say is that some of you guys are really sleeping on the character. Call it theory fighting, but the number of times I TKP'd Kenshis having their SC's and Slashes stuffed because TKP has an instant hitbox is countless.

I repeat: South America is not just Doctrine Dark and Mordrek. I think we proved our point when Lurker schooled B-W1zz in the Raiden mirror. At least Spider's Ermac and mine are waaaay different than what you fight in USA.

dash blocking and on a blocked tkp in minimal range i will start my 50/50 offense into every safe options i have and bully ermac back into the corner. What happens everytime i play this MU is the ermac player becomes so frustrated with not being able to touch me that he starts randomly instant air teleport and teleports on wake up and from ground and get heavily blown up.

There isnt any possibly way any ermac can dictate the speed of this match. Kenshi owns every second

SS = Uber f ing kenshi with every special dishing out 6-9% chip
kenshi cannot oki shang on wake up
must be extremely patient and know the rule of teleflurry on hit and block in this mu
Kenshi can interrupt every f4 gs option but not when he cancels to ss or ex ss
SS is the ultimate footsie tool and is the way to win this mu. SS goes through tele flurry and beats overheads so shang should stay right outside sc range.Kenshis BNBs become 45%-60% while being uber Kenshi

And man honestly i respect EVERY TOP PLAYER's opinion with their character as well. For example I 100% trust DJTMIT on any MU # he gives me although we usually agree. I was for a while confused about reptile if it was 6-4, 5-5, 4-6.

I always check with each character's top player to make my MU charts. I dont go alone and if i see another kenshi play a mu better than me i ask he/she as well

I was bored out of my mind. I hurt my back pretty bad doing weights a few days ago so I've been stuck in bed. So I played for like 4 fucking hours last night. All Kitana because I hate using Kenshi online. I'm so free to Sonya and Reptile online, fuck. But Crimson shouldn't feel bad. Yeah, it's Kitana. But I'm also the only Kenshi/Kitana main in the community, I think. So I know her, and I know his exploits.

Do safe AAs
overhead for free chip on wakeup
reflect every fan followed by slash or flurry
walk backwards w occasional dash forward sc, b2, or risky f3
keep meter and use it only for breaker
You're in no rush to crush the bitch, take your time and be patient
NEVER wake up rk unless guaranteed
study her frame data and where she is - sc
counter poke d1 w d1 sc or d3 sc
hit all your cross up AAs 100% all the time

But you have to look at what you are doing by spacing out with TKPs. Kenshi will dash forward and you will be forced to walk back. If you keep doing this eventually you will get cornered, and Kenshi rapes Ermac in the corner. You can't jump over him because of SC, so you are basically backing yourself into the corner.

Not going to comment on number, just wanted to bring up that point.
