Am I the only one who thinks this is ACTUALLY boring as shit?

I don’t give two shits about Sindel, but at least she hasn’t been around for a spell.

We JUST had Takeda and Mileena. Why give Kitana Mileena’s moves!? Where’s Fujin? Where’s some old 3D fighters like Sareena and havok who we newer players have t had a chance to play yet?

Im just trying to figure out what allows the brain to refuse such strong evidence. What reason is there to give Mileenas sais to another character BESIDES appeasing to the Mileena fanbase for her absence in the game.

Let's not act like the few moves they gave Kitana have completely replaced the need for Mileena. She has a Sai drop move that Mileena has NEVER had, her dive kick and some sort of command grab type move where she sticks the sai in their head.

Mournful was waaaaay more Jade inspired than this MK11 version of Kitana. I can totally see them putting Mileena in the game as DLC and completely revamping her as they've done with others. Having Mileena, Sindel and Takeda as part of the first Kombat Pack doesn't seem far fetched at all to me.

We will all find out the truth soon, either way.

Baraka has a lot of her Ravenous style moves as well. Dont leave that out.

Also, why would they have given Kitana this move?

Here's my take on this:

MK9 set up the revenant storyline.
MKX restored a couple revenants and laid the groundwork for their story arcs, including NPC fights against revenants.
MK11 needs to reconcile the revenant storylines. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the revenants return in this game, some as DLC others as NPC fights.

Likewise, don't forget that the time travel story arc can bring back Mileena, AND Quan Chi (who can resurrect any revenant) from the old timeline.

Regardless of Mileena's apparent death in MKX and the ability to bring her back from the original timeline, don't forget that Shang's flesh pits have MANY versions of Mileena, meaning that Shao Kahn has the correct "formula" to make her again. Who's to say that we aren't getting a clone of Mileena, or even that the Mileena that died in MKX wasn't a clone already?

This leak of some DLC seems fairly plausible to me, mainly because they deal with character arcs that have not yet been reconciled.

It's possible Kitana was one of the first characters they began work on, considering she's such a big part of the story.

I really don't know, man. I have never been a big Mileena player, but I do love the character and would be so interested in seeing how crazy NRS could go with her design in this game.

I just do not see a world where Mileena isn't in MK11, considering we are getting two Kombat Packs. NRS knows Mileena sells, and at the end of the day, the vast majority of people don't give two shits about characters like Sareena, Havik etc.

yep, bro, you're right here, from the 3 Mileena's moves showed on that KK, only Teleport Kick in fact, is Mileena signature move since MK2 ... the other 2, are bullshit that NRS invented to put in the game, and in Kitana moveset, only to mock the Mileena's absence situation. :p

Yeah, it's possible to revamp and redesign Mileena , in order to her have other special moves replacing the teleport kick, and even not giving sais to her this time, kinda more or less what they did with Li Mei, that at first, had Sais, and next games, they took that from her .... they could go in this direction, and make Mileena without sais , and giving her other temporary weapon in MK11 .... maybe Kamas ? :D

anyway, it's clear to me, that NRS and Ed Boon will not bat an eye, and will not make any effort to have Mileena in this game .... they already hint to extreme that she is out, and, Mileena fans that are mature and rational, just accepted that .... so, IMO, as a huge passionate fan of Mileena, she is out, and only in the next game (Mk12) we will see if she will return or not, so, IMO, this KP 1 leak is fake as hell .... only Sindel make sense to be here as DLC .... Takeda ? nahhh nope, very low tiny chances, he doesn't have a monstrous big fanbase to justify his return .... :cool:

They have such a chance to do some amazing things with her. As I said in the post above, there are ways to bring her back through a story arc. Imagine if a clone of her is brought back that is a tad more tarkatan than the MKX version and she fights even more savagely, and with only one sai? Her character can become so unique.

I do believe that Mileena will still be one of the many DLC characters that we get.

As far as Takeda, I think he was one of the better designs as far as new MKX characters go. There's sooooo much you can do with that character gameplay-wise. I can totally see him returning, maybe with some more telekinetic type moves that he "learned" from his deadbeat dad, Kenshi.

It's all speculation right now, but again, Mileena, Sindel and Takeda don't seem all that far fetched to me.
